25.01.2022 Just a quick heads up for all you lovely folks, The Bike Shop will be closed next week due to the mid-semester break. We'll be reopening in week 10 on the 2/10 but until then we'll try and keep an eye on our emails and Facebook messages in case you have any questions. And don't forget, you've still got tomorrow to get that long awaited service done before the break!!

22.01.2022 Last but not least is mechanic and final semester LLB student Bryan who's been with The Bike Shop for over a year. Prior he spent two years maintaining Monash's green and red share bike fleets. Bryan's mad about anything road bikes, especially if they are carbon. In this picture, he's riding from Melbourne to Phillip Island! Unfortunately, this week is Bryan's last after 3 years on the bike scene at Monash as he is pursuing a career in the finance sector. He bestows upon cohorts of volunteers the skills and techniques required for bike building, repair and maintenance. His bike of choice is a green steel single speed with an extremely loud ratcheting hub. Basically, he's really cool. We can vouch for that. She's been on the bike repair scene at Monash for over a year As a passionate sportswoman, she's into road cycling, long distance running and recently swimming. A key feature of her rides is her tendency to get tacked. Guess it's a good thing she's a mechanic! Besides fixing bikes, she graces our store with her cheeriness. 10.01.2022 G'day everyone, My name is Matthew Perkins and I'm the new manager at Biker Co. This week I've refurbished four secondhand bikes that are now for sale ranging between $100-200. If you haven't had a chance, come see the new shop at back of Northern Bike Arrival Station, 5 Rainforest Walk. I'll be posting weekly updates on Friday.

We are currently re-branding from "The Bikery" to "The Bike Shop" to better reflect the services we provide (we sell, service and repair bikes!) and to avoid confusion with the Bike Arrival Station. On Facebook we are yet to have our name change approved, but on Google and on the MSA website you will find that our name change has been implemented. Do drop by The Bike Shop if you have any bicycle needs or are just looking to have a chat with our friendly staff about anything bike :D We are open 10am-4pm Monday to Friday during Semester.
