25.01.2022 Saturday a couple of guys came in looking to organise a trip up here in a couple of weekends We look forward to your visit As you all know we are only open by bookings, since my accident I cant spend all day standing but still enjoy getting bike and car groups through and showing the our large range of early Harleys . 25.01.2022 These are old club cards going back to the mid 60s need to get myself a bigger frame as have more laying about. They attract lots of attention and are often photographed by museum visitors.

25.01.2022 Great visit from Harley Indian club today lot of people I havnt seen for a few years Hope you enjoyed lunch and museum. A sad part of this visit is an old mate of mine was killed on one of these bikes it is the bike in the last picture. The bike has been put in the museum with a picture board of Als round Australia trip and his Cape York trip. Thanks guys for delivering it and it will be cared for I am about to go sit with it and have a glass of red with Als RIP Als Fortune.

25.01.2022 Had a visit from The Veterans Corps Inc last saturday They had their committee meeting here and are planning a run here in the near future a good bunch of guys from a club for current and ex military persons into social activities, weekend and day rides plus charity work support this and other similar clubs do a lot of community work so support them if you can.

24.01.2022 First group leaves and a couple more riders pull in. Queenslanders this time. Nice folk cruising NSW for a change of scenery

22.01.2022 Sunday morning and bikes and people everywhere not bad considering we don't reopen for 2 weeks yet. Yesterday all vintage visitors today all modern and 2 others called in after hearing about our museum from the vintage guys looks like a busy year for us.

We have still been getting lots of people wanting to come and see our collection these guys were from Coffs Harbour and had been on the road for about 10 days the Harley on the trailer had a electronic ignition fitted and that crapped out unfortunately you cant fix electronics at the side of the road so technology made it a trailer bike. Vincent was a nice bike.

21.01.2022 Got a soft spot for these little Royal Enfields great little bikes and riders always seem to be very happy with them.

21.01.2022 Canberra Harley Owners Group cam through and made it a busy day 4 groups in all through on a week day.

21.01.2022 Busy day today with people from Mudgee, Canowindra and the last group which was the Classic Club from Orange they are staying in Kandos tonight and Im about to head down and have a beer and a feed with them. I was a member of this club about 20 years ago when I lived in Orange for a while.

20.01.2022 Long time since I posted on here but with all sorts of computer not liking camera nothing but hassles. Think I have it sorted now. This is my latest build a 1940 knucklehead original motor, transmission, frame and forks most of the rest is genuine Harley and no it is not getting painted. Its only original once.

19.01.2022 Cool weather today so just been digging out a winter project its a 1940 Knucklehead that is going together from all old parts, real old skool with peeling chrome, dirty whitewall on the back and 21 on the front trying to choose gas tanks etc pretty hard when you have tons of stuff to play with. Bottom end is good but putting stainless valves, new guides etc and an old linkert carby with old Sonic Choppers air cleaner. This old skool did not come from Asia.This is how bikes were when I started riding Harleys in the early 70s. Might put a Joe Hunt magneto sure I still have one.

15.01.2022 \something different through yesterday a couple of early Ariels on their way back to Victoria after the Ariel Rally in Tamworth if you see these guys on the road say hi to them its a long trip on a couple of old bikes

14.01.2022 Well good news from doctor. I can now reopen the museum if I take it easy on my leg so as of SATURDAY 3RD OCTOBER Australias largest Harley Davidson Museum will be open every Saturday. Caf will only be open for group bookings only. Museum and Shop Hours... Saturday 9am - 4pm Sunday - Friday open by phone booking only. We ask all friends and followers to share this and go to our Bikes and Buds facebook page and give us a like. We will be closed for the 3 months of WINTER each year. 13.01.2022 Been working on my 1965 panhead all day sort of a 50Th birthday fix up. Its now got original foot operated siren and correct front fender trim couple of little things to finish.

11.01.2022 Fairly quiet day today which gave me a chance to finish assembling my 1940 knuckle transmission. Fair few people in cars but only a hand full of bikes around. I wouldnt mind one of these adventure bikes if any dealer wants me to do a 12 month road test. We are open tomorrow sundays 9-2 and every saturday 9-4.

09.01.2022 Just finished unloading a 1950 servicar, just need to finish putting the tinware on and it will be another display bike, this makes 2 1950 models here 1 left and 1 right hand gear shift. I put a couple of other photos in for something to look at

07.01.2022 These guys came through yesterday most were from Batemans Bay area all on adventure bikes doing a back road trip around the district great way to explore on one of these go anywhere machines. 02.01.2022 Days like this make owning this museum so great this is Lyall Hughs who has the sawmill at Clarence NSW (now run by his grandson) he came to look at the bikes and told me he had a 1942 WLA during the 50s and 60s when he spent much of his time around Glenorie. When I showed him this WLA you could see the memories come flooding back. His son bought him up here for fathers day. Made my day and his.

01.01.2022 Sunday had a booking for Mountain Cruizers (hope I spelt it right) a car club covering Lithgow and Blue Mountains. Great bunch of enthusiasts and family orientated group. Wide variety of cars and a great tour also discussed restoration processes and chowed them guards getting made, metal casting metal spinning etc. I love my job.
