24.01.2022 How has your week started? We had a pretty busy week last week, but it's back to a slower pace today I keep mentioning Bildits' detailed instruction booklets, so here is a sneak peak into the intermediate kit instruction manual. It contains step-by-step instructions to all of the 13 proposed designs, plus a lot of engineering tips and tricks!
24.01.2022 So, you've built your house with Bildits intermediate kit, and you were left with some cement and putty. This happened to us, so we tried to create something and came up with this! A Bildits cement Christmas tree for the festive season We used the Bildits moulds and cement, and got some star cookie cutters from Kmart (5 different sizes in the one box). With two mixes of cement according to the Bildits instructions, we were able to make 8 stars (we didn't use the biggest star). Stack them up and Ta-Da! We went a bit further and made a hole in the centre of each star by inserting a wooden skewer and keeping it stable with some pegs. To build the tree we threaded the stars onto the skewer, but if you have a little bit of putty left, you can use it to glue the stars together.

23.01.2022 We showed you a sneak peek in yesterday's post, and this is the finished creation! A pen holder! With every advanced kit (10+), in addition to building any house you can dream of, you also have the option of making little gadgets for your room, like this pen holder! You'll find many ideas at the end of the instruction booklet, and we think they look really cool and unique! If you or your kids could make something from scratch to use in your room using cement slabs and bricks, what would you make?

'Invitations to play' in their early years, free play indoors or outdoors, some structured playtime too...
