02.01.2022 From this Saturday until autumn 2020 we will now be CLOSED ON SATURDAYS. There's two reasons why we do this: Spring/summer is actually the worst time of the year to establish plants. The hot dry conditions in Melbourne mean there's less moisture in the soil to establish plants. This is also why our production cycle is timed to peak in winter, as that's when most contractors will be putting plants in the ground. By the time of warmer weather, we've run out of plants to sell.... Our focus at this time of year turns to propagating and seed collecting, to start the cycle again! We are still open during the week for volunteers to help us during this busy propagation time
