25.01.2022 2021's first project underway; Australian Cypress window for a church renovation.

24.01.2022 Get your barn doors here . . .

23.01.2022 Heavy bit of gear. My body hurts.

23.01.2022 Job done, all good.

23.01.2022 The humble poly bath, clad with feature filled Tas Oak to match this home's timber floor.

23.01.2022 Simple Celery Pine dining table on Tas oak frame. Tables are always enjoyable.

23.01.2022 Personal adage; If I can draw it then I can build it. Working on a balustrading concept for an upcoming staircase.

23.01.2022 Just because I like the shape. Uri used to use his mind to bend spoons, I like to use my mind to bend timber.

22.01.2022 Repurposed Tasmanian blackwood slabs. Old twisted bench tops and shelves slowly becoming a unique kitchen island bench.

21.01.2022 Tasmanian Heritage grade blackwood at its finest, and it didnt come from the bottom of a lake.

21.01.2022 Only the sealer coat, looks rubbish close up but gives you a general idea of the colour.

20.01.2022 Huon pine commission closer to completion.

19.01.2022 Tasmanian Oak 6 winder underway. Softer tones than the normal Heritage grade tas oak I use due to its plantation origin. Showing off my Titan chisels.

19.01.2022 The finished product!

19.01.2022 Client walks in, " Can you put a new top on this for me?" Hmmm, what to do . . . ? How should I make a table top that says Bill Burford was ere? Blackbutt offcut destined for the firepot turned in to this.

18.01.2022 Another special creation from the same house; a wall to wall Tas Oak shaving cabinet, the biggest I've ever made, so big it had to be delivered in pieces through the window and assembled in the bathroom! The back of the cabinet is the feature of this piece, each board selected for it's colour, features, and then pain stakingly arranged in such a way to create this epic feature.

18.01.2022 When a door needs to be the right shape!

16.01.2022 Bending time. 1 of 2 only ( 2nd one Im keeping). $1320. Perfect gift for that difficult to by for!

16.01.2022 Getting paid to make pieces like this makes all the splinters and stuff-ups over the years worthwhile.

15.01.2022 "Bending time" document box. Pre-packaging photo before travelling to Bungendore Woodworks Gallery, currently on display as part of SF18 exhibition, in conjunction with Wood Review magazine.

13.01.2022 Recognise anyone? A bit of friday fun.

12.01.2022 Crown cut Tas Oak veneer wardrobes. Centre drawer for suitcase or self-isolation purposes.

12.01.2022 I am about to use this unique example of Heritage grade messmate for something completely inappropriate for its beauty. Just thought I should share it with someone before I destroyed it.

11.01.2022 Figured Tasmanian blackwood bathroom wall cabinet. Gone to its new home

11.01.2022 My equivalent to performing delicate surgery; Making cord access for a Tasmanian blackwood shaving cabinet, one slip and its all over.

10.01.2022 9"x3" in the old money, they don't cut them like this any more.

10.01.2022 My part is done, ready for some beautiful lead light work, and then installation and final paint.

10.01.2022 Solid Tasmanian Oak pivot entrance door, 1200mm wide.

10.01.2022 Sometimes theres just no easy way to get to the end destination.

09.01.2022 Celery Top pine entertainment unit.

07.01.2022 Almost completed. Thanks to Creeds Customs for balustrading paintwork and Mobile Onsite Engineering for handrails, welding, and general collaboration to achieve something unique.

07.01.2022 For years I hated working with plain bland Tasmanian oak, then I discovered where theyve been hiding all the good stuff! #tasmaniantimber #timberstairs

01.01.2022 Huon/myrtle bedside table.

01.01.2022 There's a fair chunk of my life represented by this photo. More curves . . .

01.01.2022 Some of the past year's projects. If I haven't got to your project yet- rest assured, you have moved up the list! Thank you again past and future clients for allowing me to add a special something to your home. All the best for 2021!
