16.01.2022 1 months in and our splits need a honey box. We are so happy with our new queen breeders. It so nice that we can do our own queens now

15.01.2022 Hey everyone. We are so excited we love showing off our new full depth Beatle resistance plastic frames or BRF frame for short from Cercell. Been doing a test between a standard wooden frame with plastic foundation and these BEF frame shown.The BRF frames hold on average another 300-350 grams of honey. We tested 10 frames and the results are outstanding. Our beautiful girls have no problems working with them as well. So far we have sold 8000 frames to other customers and everyone is soooo happy with there results as well. Used in the brood box they seem to be laying eggs into the top bar holes as well so thats even more as a bonus. If anyone is interested to purchase some or get more information please dont hesitate to send us a message. Happy bee keeping

11.01.2022 We loaded up the rest of our girls onto the truck and headed to the Almonds. Here are some pics. The Almonds trees have just started to flower so they can start getting to work.

10.01.2022 We're on our way down past Corryong to help out our farmer that have next to no diesel and limited food and fresh water. 600 litres on board and a some food and water for the fire fighters that are helping out. Also our truck is going up with more supplies and hopefully move some bees tonight out of the way of the path of the fire. Some of our bees we cant move and have no idea what there like as we cant get to them due to fire activity. We are hoping for the best for them. We know we have lost bees but dont know how many yet. Takecare everyone and stay safe.

08.01.2022 Full time Beekeeper WANTED for family business Billabong Honeybee situated in Wagga Wagga Nsw , starting in the up and coming bee season (end of August/September) Must be reliable and be willing to work hard with self motivation. Need to have full drivers licence, truck licence would be good but not a must. Good work ethic and be a team player but must also be able to work independently. Must be physically fit.... There will be time away from home out camping and long days. Job roles include: Shed work Extracting honey Working with bees Truck driving Loading and unloading trucks Assembling equipment Packing honey ect... 03.01.2022 Hey Guys and Girls. Our team at Billabong Honeybee are so excited to show you the new full depth plastic frames from Ceracell. We are now a reseller and ready to take orders. The frames are the best we have come across by far . We will be ordering our first container soon and it has already been pre sold so if any one is after stock please contact us. Frames can also be wax coated with approximately 30-35 grams of wax with the hot wax spray gun. Also any thing else from Ceracell please let me know what you are after and i can find out how much. 01.01.2022 G,day everyone. Was taking some close up of one of our girls loaded with pollen on . Its amazing on how such a small insect can fly 5km in all weather conditions.

01.01.2022 Sometimes we get stuck in some stupid situations but hey its part of the job. Getting the work ute bogged while looking for more bee sites. Then having to work out who is walking back to camp (10km) to get the truck to pull it out as no trees were around to use the winch. Lets just say it was one long night.
