22.01.2022 So proud of Xienna who participated in the Yamba nippers carnival! In the Under 9's, she got 2nd on the board and 4th in the swim finals!! Way to go! Xienna is not afraid to go for it!! We've heard we got some more great results - can't wait to get the details!!

22.01.2022 We had a Spooktacular times at Friday night races this week. Again we handed lots of PB cards out and saw some great swimming and races. We can't wait to see what the next Friday night races brings on the 6th November

22.01.2022 Here's a great photo of Ashton and Xienna participating in the Kingscliff Kids Triathlon on Saturday morning. Xienna was first out of the water and came in fourth overall. Ashton was fifth out of the water and looking like a pro!! It's great to see our swimmers able to participate in triathlons and both said they had a great time too! Swimming a skill for life!! You can't beat it!

22.01.2022 What a great Friday night races we had. Lots of PB cards given out again and some great swimming and technique. We also love the closeness and friendships that bond and form through Friday night races. We really love watching and hearing the kids cheer each other on. It's just great. Our next Friday night races is on the 4th December and will be our last for 2020, but will be announcing the 20201 race dates when we return in the New year. So dust your Santa hats, reindeer antlers and all things Christmas off and joy us for some Christmas fun on Friday 4th December

21.01.2022 If you wonder why our swimmers are swimming in baggy t-shirts this week - it's because it's SwimSAFER week!! This is our chance to emphasis to our swimmers and parents how important it is to be safe around the water especially as the weather is warming up and everyone wants to get wet!! Our swimmers are learning to stay calm and swim with underwater recovery strokes such as dog paddle, treading water and elementary backstroke. They may even need to just float on their back until help comes! It's important that we reinforce and practice these skills! Some may be doing endurance swims such as 400 metres or more to build their confidence. It a great week of learning and fun before we break for Christmas on the 19th of December! Make sure that your swimmer gets their SwimSAFER certificate! Thanks Swim Australia!

18.01.2022 Friday Night Races are on again this Friday. A suggestion has been made for our parents to try to pre-register their swimmers in order that we can be better prepared on the night. Please send a text to - 0405 314 559 -- If you would text your name, your child/ren's - first and last name, maximum of four events that your child wants to swim. The events this Friday are: 25 and 50 Free 25 and 50 Back 25 and 50 Butterfly 100 IM ... Your child must be Stingray and above to swim the Butterfly and IM events. Newcomers always welcomed!! 15.01.2022 It was our first Friday night races as well as our Halloween parade. We saw lots of spooky costumes and characters in the parade. It was great to see lots of new comers to our race night. It was amazing to see you all swim again and continue your friendships, encouragement and new friendships start. Our next Friday night race night is the 5th November. We can't wait to see you all there.

10.01.2022 SANTA...... It was great to see you at the pool to see our special visitor Santa on the Cudgen rural fire brigade truck. The kids to get a treat from Santa, have a turn on the hose and sit in the truck. Lots of happy smiley faces

05.01.2022 We have had to change the way we enter the pool area to monitor attendence due to COVID-19 laws and regulations. Families MUST check in at reception before entering the side gate where you will need to sign in so we have a record of attendance for the people present at each class. We advice all parents to leave extra travel time on their journey's to make sure these processes can be done and still get your child/children to their lesson/s on time.... Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to seeing you at the pool.
