21.01.2022 The team at Tyrepower Moree helping us get the Mercedes back on the road to complete the trip. The hot exhaust gases coming from the broken manifold have melted... the spark plug leads So the guys here are making up a bracket to deflect the gas but can’t fit a new exhaust as nothing to bolt it onto. Hoping you can like and share the page as much as possible to help the business here and get some promotion for helping us. They have been great dropped everything and doing what they can. See more

12.01.2022 Awards night after the rally. We got an award for Best Breakdown Repair Attempt! When all else had failed to get the Mercedes running we hit a thingy under the... bonnet with a hammer and it ran really well (for a few hours). Scotty and Jay tried sooo hard to get that car across the finish line it must have been a bit disappointing to surrender to defeat. But people were noticing their efforts and last night it was obvious from the roar of the crowd when the award was announced. 11.01.2022 Last morning, all packed up and ready to leave Glen Innes as the sun slowly melts the ice on the cars. Surprisingly snug and warm in my little tiny canvas hous...e overnight. The poor old Mercedes has been declared dead. The boys will get a medal this morning to make them feel better about losing their car. They were prepared to give it a go again today but the rally organizers had different ideas. Perhaps it’s for the better. See more
