01.01.2022 Well we're gearing up for 2020 with weddings in Feb,March & April. Also later in the year in December. I've been meaning to explain for some time now that the preparation a celebrant puts into a wedding ceremony is not governed by the number of guests at the ceremony. Unlike caterers we don't work on a cost per head. Our time and preparation which includes the initial meeting we have with our couple, the completion of The Notice of Intended Marriage, The Official Certificat...e of Marriage, The Declaration of No Legal Impediment To Marriage and The Certificate of Marriage. All of these documents have to be completed with no errors and after the wedding ceremony are posted by the celebrant to the Department of Births Deaths ad Marriages. The celebrant also pays a yearly registration fee and also has to attend an Ongoing Professional Development Course every year. So whether your ceremony is just the bride & Groom and 2 witnesses or 200 guests our administration time and cost is still the same. So please keep this in mind if you are planning a small intimate ceremony.
