A part of me is impressed with their entrepreneurial like skill and the other part of me wishes I had donated it to Vinnies....

24.01.2022 Every day someone tells me how generous I am. It's generally because I have given them my time to listen and hear their problems and I ask for nothing in return. Shocking right!... For me this doesn't feel like being generous, it feels like being human. I reached out to 5 people last week that I hadn't heard from in a while to see how they where going with everything. 4 out of the 5 responses I got where basically thank you but I'm not interested. The message literally read; 'I haven't heard from you in a while. Just thought I would check in and see how you are going?' I wasn't selling them anything, I didn't even intend to sell them anything. I genuinely reached out to see how they where going because you know I am human and I care! If you are a business owner who wants to actually help people start by actually helping them....

20.01.2022 Someone asked me recently what I loved most about business. It is funny because it was a question that most people probably don’t know the answer too. I am a business coach because I have a true passion for business. I could help people through life coaching but I knew if I was going to truly hep people I had to stick to my passion which is business.... It used to be a running joke in our house that my hobby was work It is so true though I absolutely love business, there are so many different facets of a business and especially small business, I love the small business world because you are forced to wear 1000 different hats, think outside of the box and problem solve every single day. Here was my answer to what I love most about business. Honestly I have 2 things I just love about business. 1 Firstly studying and understanding different economic environments, I gives my clients a leg up against the competition because business owners forget to focus on the NOW. 2 Secondly, human psychology, what drives a person to sit in a particular chair or exit their checkout cart 4 times. I love getting into the minds of people to truly understand them and what makes them tick. The better I understand people the better I can serve them.

06.01.2022 I get really sad when I see businesses with a closing down sale or a desperate plea in a Facebook group for customers. And it really frustrates me when people say the reason they have to close down is Covid. The truth is their business was bad before Covid. I am not saying that businesses weren’t impacted, I think majority of businesses were.... The business owners that will survive this pandemic and the next recession all have 1 thing in common. They are innovative. They didn’t sit around complaining about the problems they looked at the problems and found solutions and that right there is a good business owner. It also meant they could financially afford to take a bit of a hit because they have ALWAYS been innovative. I have clients from all different industries - coaches, service providers, fitness instructors etc and all of them are thriving. If you are struggling stop worrying about what everyone else is doing and worry about who you are, what you do and why you do it. And then.. DO IT.

05.01.2022 2 months ago I was talking to a small business owner that had only been in business 4 months. They were telling me how they were running at a loss and the difficulties and expenses they had already experienced. I am not a fan of pushing my business onto people, mostly because I truly believe if they want to work with me they will.... Nic was straight onto it, telling the business owner how much I could help his business, I followed it all up with; yeah sure that is exactly what I do. If you are interested here is my number, the first meeting is free of charge because I want to make sure we will be a good fit and that I can definitely bring value to your business (I am all about return on investment so if I don’t think you will make your money back by working with me I will straight up say no, I don’t think it will work). The business owner reached out to me within 24hours, we set a meeting and within 7 days we started working together. I knew he could barely afford my services but I also knew I could help and realistically he probably couldn’t afford not to work with me. Over the last 2 months together we have Reduced expenses by 79% Increased revenue by 44% Gained 340 followers (42 followers a week) Spent $0 on Facebook advertising Increased customers by at least 10 a month Now he continually tells me he is so happy we met, his bank balance has never been so high and he is well on his way to make well over 6 figures. Right place right time he says I said to him I meet people all of the time but only very few people actually reach out, it’s not about right place right time, it’s about seeing an opportunity and taking it. I work, I can’t create a 7 figure business without working. Why do you give your clients 24/7 access to you? Because I truly want them to be successful, giving them access allows them to grow faster because they are not stuck until our next meeting they can message me any time. What advice do you give? I give customised business advice however the 1 piece of advice I give everyone is ‘Focus on who you want to be and what you want to do and the rest falls into place’. How can I work with you? 04.01.2022 10 years ago I lived in this apartment block. I lived in apartment 1 right at the end there. It was a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment with a shared laundry under the building.... The kitchen was only big enough for 1 person and the cupboards where falling apart, your cup would go in clean and come out dirty There were no cupboards in the bedroom and no vanity in the bathroom. But we made it work, in fact we lived in this apartment block for more than 2 years. I wasn’t born into wealth, I didn’t marry into wealth and I didn’t inherit it. I worked for it. I worked for people I didn’t like, I worked long hours, I did 5am starts, midnight finishes and one time I even worked a 36 hour shift. I did what I thought I needed to do to be successful. Don’t get me wrong it worked but at what cost? I would say the biggest thing it took from me was my mental health, it is ongoing issue that I have been working on for the last 6 years. There is a different way to be successful and it doesn’t involve sacrifice. Stay true to who you are and who you want to be. I know it sounds to good to be true but it’s not. Focus on that and you can’t fail.

Firstly it gives you a false justification, if your not making money look at what you are selling or who you are marketing it....... Secondly you are quitting on yourself before you have even began!!! What is something you hate hearing?

03.01.2022 I wanted you to know, I see you sitting there with your desk covered in 'tasks' not knowing where to begin Why do you think that is? No, it’s not because you lack focus. Stop telling yourself that. ... The truth is it’s not that you lack focus at all in fact when something excites us and we are genuinely enjoying doing it we are extremely focused. If you are struggling to stay focused remember it's not because you lack direction or focus it’s because you're not really enjoying doing it. So how can you stay focused if you don’t love what you are doing?? Option 1 - Re connect, find the passion, fall back in love with what you are doing Option 2 - Create a plan with achievable goals so you have something to look forward to along the way. Something you can get excited about If nothing about it excites you, why are you doing it? Can you hire someone to do it so you can focus on other things?

03.01.2022 Blockbuster had the opportunity to buy Netflix and they literally laughed Netflix out the door Netflix pitched their company to Blockbuster in 2000, they offered to sell for $50Million, and today Netflix is worth $125Billion. Why where they trying to sell?... Like most successful businesses Netflix had a stage where they were struggling. They were competing with a billion dollar business and every time Netflix was innovative Blockbuster would copy their move. So what changed? Blockbuster had a shift in management and the new management decided to stop ‘wasting’ money on that section of the business and to focus on what Blockbuster did best (rent movies to its customers). Netflix however continued to be INNOVATIVE, but now there was no competition, which meant Well you know how the story ends We are all in a saturated market, it’s how you stand out that sets you apart. 02.01.2022 Earlier this year I was in Las Vegas, it was my first time. If you have never been it is an extraordinary place. There is SO much to do and see. It was our first day, we hadn’t even been there 3 hours and we were approached to go to a Timeshare seminar in exchange for cheap show tickets. It was pitched that it would take 3 hours and we saved around 75% on our show tickets, Nic did the math and I decided the discount was worth our time. ... We went on a bus with other tourists to the Timeshare seminar, we were all given food and ushered into the seminar room with our allocated sales guy. The seminar had everything an amazing sales pitch has and I could see why people bought what was on offer by the end of the tour. They have an 89% success rate so they are doing something right. I expected to be sold to but I didn’t expect that the seminar would change me as a person. The host would ask the room questions and you were expected to respond. Is this your first holiday in 5years, raise your hand. As I looked around the room more than 90% of people had their hand up. Keep your hand raised if this will most likely be your only holiday within a 10 year period, very few hands went down. I was shocked. As the seminar went on I wasn’t paying attention to the host anymore I found myself reading the room, trying to understand how majority of the room had ended up in a depressed life where they were living to work. The week that followed was incredible but I could not stopping thinking about that room full of people. How could I give them what I have? How could I help people to live better lives? By the time we arrived back in Australia I knew that 2020 was the year I started to make my mark on the world, I still had no idea how I was going to do that I just knew I was going too. After about 6 weeks of planning I decided I was going to help people by teaching them how to run successful businesses which would lead to their financial freedom. I officially launched my business in March and the response has been incredible but the best part is seeing my clients live happier more fulfilling lives, seeing them grow with confidence and self-belief. 02.01.2022 Over the last 7 days I have made more than $5,000 just from selling stuff around our house that we don't need anymore. Here is how; Do your homework - see what the product is worth brand new and what other people are currently listing the product for, rember this is list price not what it is actually selling for... Presentation - make sure the product is at it's best Negotiation - people will try and negotiate so make sure your price reflects that, have room to move. I always list slightly higher then what I am willing to actually sell for and make the buyer feel like they are getting a deal Wording - people love a good deal so wording is critical. $25ea or 2 for $50 Most of this is not specific to 2nd hand goods.
