24.01.2022 Times are tough but Labor has a plan for Queensland's economic recovery. By investing $1 billion into commercial businesses and projects, we'll create thousands of jobs for Queenslanders. This includes the establishment of a $500 million Backing Queensland Business Fund, as well as a $500 million investment in publicly owned renewable energy assets to foster jobs and growth, particularly in regional Queensland. When the private sector takes a hit, the Government must step u...p and investments like these will be crucial to our economic recovery from COVID-19. I will fight for the Sunshine Coast to make sure it benefits from the Backing Queensland Business Fund. Together we can keep building a better Queensland.
24.01.2022 If you're in a crowded situation you can't get out of, put a mask on.
23.01.2022 I was talking to Bobby, owner of Sunshine Coast Flooring Xtra. He and his wife Chantelle took over the business in July 2019, have relocated to Birtinya and are now expanding. The strong health response of the Palaszczuk Government and the Jobkeeper scheme have helped them keep the business growing throughout COVID-19 and their workforce employed. Like many small businesses, they are concerned about the effects in the coming months that the pandemic will have on their busines...s and businesses around them, especially when the Jobkeeper funding finishes. Labor has a recovery plan that includes assistance to small businesses. Why should businesses like this one risk the LNP?
22.01.2022 Shout out to Nurses supporting Voluntary Assisted Dying. This is an important issue for so many and I want to draw attention to it during this campaign.
22.01.2022 A big shout out and ‘THANK YOU’ to all our health staff. I encourage everyone to get behind this pledge and vote Labor!

21.01.2022 Labor has been able to deliver $8b in economic stimulus because of their strong health response. I will fight to make sure the Sunshine Coast gets its fair share. I need your support to make sure Kawana continues to prosper from projects like these.
20.01.2022 Apprenticeships are an important part of the Palaszczuk governments Recovery Plan. They are now free for under 21s because its crucial that Queenslanders are skilled for the jobs of today and tomorrow. To ensure the delivery of our Recovery Plan continues we need you to vote for me, your Labor candidate for Kawana.

09.01.2022 Today is also World Suicide Prevention Day. We must all come together, regardless of our politics, to provide the support and health services to prevent suicide. The rate of suicide among young people, particularly young men and indigenous people in Australia is a national tragedy. Surely, as a country we can do better? ... My heart goes out to all those families that have lost a loved one. -
09.01.2022 This time next week Queensland will have voted. In casting your vote, please consider the 8 reasons below. Kawana deserves a strong voice in the next Government so vote Bill Redpath, Labor for a Kawana.

My commitment to you is to stand up for Kawana and ensure no one gets left behind. VOTE 1 BILL REDPATH, LABOR FOR KAWANA
08.01.2022 Great to see us making things in Queensland and buying local. Thats part of the Palaszczuk recovery plan that you wont see in any Frecklington plan (if there is one)!
08.01.2022 The Palaszczuk Governments Recovery Plan is already producing these results but weve still got a tough road ahead. Only Labor have a comprehensive plan to get our economy on its feet, to create jobs and get us back to work. In the shadow of the pandemic, you just cant trust Deb Frecklington...and her grab bag of announcements!
05.01.2022 Mick Fanning sums it up.... How do you think our political leaders are faring with the COVID-19 pandemic? Im in Queensland and I feel Queensland has done a really good job. Some people get pissed off with the border closures, but we have to do our part. Think about who you could give the virus to. Your grandparents. A loved one. That guilt would crush anyone. Its about doing the best for other people, and not being selfish about it. (SMH Good Weekend 5/9/20 P23)
04.01.2022 Proud to have my campaign launched today by the Attorney-General, Yvette DAth, and supported by fellow candidate for Ninderry, Melinda Dodds. Thanks to my wonderful volunteers who are ready to help me spread the message as to why we need to re-elect the Palaszczuk Labor Government to keep Queensland on its feet. In these troubled times, the people of Kawana can do a lot better than Jarrod Bleijie!
04.01.2022 Opening the borders has not worked anywhere in the world without a significant number of deaths. Deb Frecklington advocates risk - don’t risk your life, vote Labor for Kawana and support the return of the Palaszczuk Government.

01.01.2022 Our beaches in Kawana are pristine, comprising 25% of the turtle nesting sites on the Sunshine Coast. I believe our environment needs protecting. Im also committed to preserving the lifestyle on the Sunshine Coast we love - this means listening to community groups, such as the Friends of Buddina, in reviewing the planning laws/processes to get the balance right!
01.01.2022 WARNING...PROTECT THIS SCENE Deb Frecklingtons decision, announced today, to defund the Environmental Defenders Office tells us everything about where they line up on protecting the environment. If, like me, you care about preserving the Sunshine Coast we love and enjoy, then dont risk the LNP.... Vote 1 - Bill Redpath for Kawana
01.01.2022 Im heartened by a young man so passionate about politics - thank you Chris, its great to have you on my team!
