22.01.2022 Congratulations to our wonderful Billy Lids teaching team. We set ourselves a challenge to co-ordinate a round robin for our Tuesday night Musical Theatre program. This involves, 4 teachers, 3 visual devices, 3 music devices, 3 seperate studios, 3 ATOD Musical theatre levels, 20 students, Zoom multiple links/invited, 30 emails and much more. Classes are held every Tuesday at 10am or 11am Hi, my name is Tracey Abbott and I have been a music educator for over twenty years, completing my ‘Bachelor of Music,’ at Deakin University Melbourne in 2000 and the ‘Graduate Diploma of Education Secondary/Primary,’ at The University of Melbourne,’ in 2002, majoring in piano and music education. I have been employed over the Mornington Peninsula and surrounding areas, at several primary and secondary schools to teach classroom music and work as a ‘Casual Relief Teacher.’ Currently, I am teaching piano in schools and privately. My piano students range from primary school students to adults. I provide a program that is tailored to my students’ needs. One is to provide the AMEB (Australian Music Examination Board) exam system or teach students for leisure. My music and piano lessons are based on Suzuki, Kodaly, Orff and traditional musical notation. I absolutely love teaching music and my passion is to be able to share my love of music to all my students.
