25.01.2022 Hi everyone! The Bilpin Markets is open tomorrow. We are an essential gathering as we are supplying our community with food. To help our customers we will be spreading out - we will have more stalls outside from this weekend going forward. To confirm, we will have bread and vegetables for sale so come and do your regular shopping with us.

24.01.2022 Eggplants from Nick at our local markets were turned into the best Greek Moussaka. This recipe is from a very old Greek cookbook purchased from a Canberran market in the eighties. This is the best moussaka I have ever eaten. Thanks Nick

24.01.2022 Please dont forget the Bilpin Car Boot Sale is on next Saturday the 25th November from 9am-3pm. It is not too late to book a spot for just $10 (Please call Regina to book a spot on 0412 027 143). We have 20 Car Boot Sale participants to date! The markets will be open from 9am-3pm as well. Come and break some sourdough with us, come for a great coffee and lunch, come for some early Christmas shopping, come and find some great bargains, or just come and touch base with your local mob. 22.01.2022 The Karma Soap Company will be present at the markets this Saturday 9/12/17. Their soaps are made with natural ingredients, including goats milk, olive oil, to name a few. Stuck for ideas for Christmas gifts? Come up for some Christmas shopping, breakfast and/or coffee, or just to wish your local friends a Merry Christmas.

If you are looking for some swimwear/bikinis for the warmer weather approaching, come on up to the markets this Saturday as the gorgeous Samantha Cockerell will be with us selling a large range of swimwear along with some other fabulous clothing items. Sean and Manu will also be selling their delicious sourdough. Dont miss out! Hope to see you there between 10-12
20.01.2022 Sean and Manus sourdough sold out on Saturday, but the bread will be back next Saturday 12/11/17. The markets are on from 10am till 12-1pm.

Saturday 24th July, we are serving a little Asian fusion, chicken and sweet corn soup, with real chicken and real corn cooked in real chicken broth and Vietnamese spring rolls, made with real pork and real veggies, and a super real sauce. Everything is awesome..... (Lego movie reference there, in case you didnt get it) Everything is real. Including the wog rolls!

14.01.2022 We had an awesome Car Boot Sale today. Thanks go out to all that were selling such a plethora of fabulous items. Thanks also go out to those that attended and bought some great bargains. We are considering another Car Boot Sale on the Australia Day weekend, and we would love to hear your feedback on today and if you would be happy to attend the Australia Day weekend one as well. Thanks again to everyone for supporting our local community.
14.01.2022 We would like everyone to know that we are running as a food market only this Saturday. Our kitchen will not be open as usual, and our signs wont be up for people passing by - our aim is to continue selling our produce to locals and regulars. We will have the following: vegetables, bread, preserves, honey, apple cider vinegar, fire cider, eggs.

11.01.2022 A wonderful couple from our local area are volunteering in a hospital in Vanuatu in May. They will be nursing and doing some sorely needed plumbing work. We are currently in the throws of asking these gorgeous people to provide us with a list of some of the items this hospital needs. We know the wonderful spirit that our community has and we would like to make this list available over the coming weeks and are hoping that with your help we are able to supply some sorely needed items. Any help at all will make a huge difference to this hospital
11.01.2022 Tomorrow, Saturday, we will be serving minestrone with gremolata, beef and red wine pies, wog rolls and Tarte Citron and the regular brunch food. The usual stalls will be there selling local produce, arts and crafts. Come on in, say hello and catch up on some local gossip.

05.01.2022 Here is a list of the wonderful and dedicated stallholders we have at Bilpin Community Markets and Cafe. DAWNE sells unusual and unique plants, and beautiful hand made woollen knits. BASIL supplies an ever-changing variety of fresh produce, including fruit, vegetables and flowers. He also sells knick knacks.... ELIZABETH AND FRANCOISE have fresh made apple pies, delicious preserves, jams and tasty sweet treats. PAT AND CRAIG have a never-ending selection of fabulous chutneys, pickles and jams, and seasonal surprises. NICK supplies his own incredibly fresh organic vegetables and herbs. DOROTHEA makes her own array of attractive pottery, specialising in porcelain ware. JOHN the apiarist sells his wonderful natural honey. KAYE has an array of items, these include sweet and savoury treats and crafty handmade gifts. MATILDA in the kitchen makes the best coffees ever, always served with warmth and a welcoming smile. Coffee is fresh roasted by Andrew Phillips from Coffee Warehouse and Edible Garden. MICHAEL AND CINDY in the kitchen are always trying to fill your belly with freshly made brekkie, brunch or lunch. We have many casual stall-holders too, they visit when seasonal produce and/or time permits. We are in the process of looking at ways of growing our community market. We are throwing around lots of ideas, but we would love to have your input too, whether it is an offer to have a stall, or just to suggest something you would like to see at your local market. You can either post to this site or call me, my number is attached to this site. We would really love to keep this market going, and hopefully make it a place that our local friends would consider a regular place to visit. It is all about keeping our wonderful community connected.

03.01.2022 Good afternoon all. Just a gentle reminder about the Car Boot Sale on tomorrow at the Bilpin Community Hall from 9am-3pm. There will be a sausage sizzle and cold drinks available and the indoor markets will be open for food and great coffee. We hope to see plenty of local peeps there tomorrow.

Fresh locally roasted coffee from Coffee Warehouse at Kurmond, Vietnamese spring rolls with nuoc mam sauce, freshly baked Pinecrest pink lady apple crumble muffins, bacon and egg rolls, toasties, jams, apple pies, cakes, fruit, flowers, plants etc. or just come to catch up on local gossip, lol.
