23.01.2022 Less air pollution in Tassie means the sun is harsher. Cheers to less air pollution and summer days at the beach. Is there really a hole in the ozone layer that makes the sun feel hotter in Tasmania? http://www.abc.net.au//tasmanian-heat-feels-hotte/10705112
22.01.2022 Submerged Images Tasmania was recently bought to our attention. It is safe to say you will see us sharing their material. It offers a unique perspective on the beautiful place that is Binalong Bay.

10.01.2022 Today is International Wetlands Day. Hooray for our kidneys! On World Wetlands Day, learn more about 'the kidneys' of the environment http://www.abc.net.au//wetlands-act-as-the-kidney/11912402... The St Helens and Bay of Fires area has a number of wetlands and lagoons, including sites of international significance such as Jocks Lagoon (for more on Jocks see the link below). http://www.environment.gov.au//8f88a87e-3/files/10-ecd.pdf

09.01.2022 It is to be no dive wreck. http://mobile.abc.net.au//tasmanian-government-r/10370956
08.01.2022 The look and feel of the material that is being put out for the new St Helens MTB Trail is great (see https://www.sthelensmtbtrails.com.au//www.sthelensmtbtrai/). Maybe you attended one of the recent community forums. One focus of these has been 'Chasing Bold Goals', one of which is to "Become known as an adventure destination". What screams adventure more than MTB and wreck diving combined. The recent decision by the State Government not to fund the sinking of a ex-Navy sh...ip as a dive site (see link below) runs counter to all the goals of the MTB goals, including: - increase visitors - increase jobs - become an adventure destination - become a case study destination - be award winning The MTB trails and wreck diving combined could be a really strong economic base combined with game fishing, the eco boat and pristine beaches.
