24.01.2022 Wow. What a quiet group and no outside play. It's a book ready day on our Indian fabric and cushions. We have totally loved the very hungry caterpillar story, the very quiet cricket, the very busy spider. Eric Carle is very popular around here. We have also watched birds hatching, then Bina took the children to see a real nest in her tree. We studied an abandoned nest which then rolled into so much role play with the box of wooden animals and trees.

24.01.2022 Today the group have loved the Xmas areas. There is things EVERYWHERE!!!!! Outside we have planted a small plant each, collected flowers and we think we have seen where the very hungry caterpillar has eaten leaves. We have also discovered that we have been successful at growing cauliflowers.....

22.01.2022 Easy going day today. What a lovely play outside enjoying the new area.

19.01.2022 Today my morning started with a coffee delivered. Thankyou Eva and Hendrix. We have really been creative with the small wooden animals and trees. Outside the girls played with a real nest and imagined a game with the bird. We have enjoyed the new area for the mud kitchen and of course we had to be sprinkled with the water because THIS group love water. The girls also planted a tomato plant each to care for.

08.01.2022 We are really into building towers today. Outside we have had a lovely long play before it got too hot. Water play, trucks in mud and this group is my most interested in bugs group. We found a crawling bug, two butterflies and Marley thinks every bug is the caterpillar from our fav story at the moment.

08.01.2022 We have had a lovely play outside with Marley being the best bug spotter. Kohen is the best treasure finder. Hunter is always making dinner and Darcy finished the morning off with dirt like he had eyebrows painted on!!!!! We all planted a tomato plant and watered them in.

06.01.2022 I also wanted to post this. My two older girls going off to school next year are interested in other languages. In quiet time we researched Japanese and the girls presented matching the blocks to the symbols and learnt to write letters. It blows my mind how advanced these girls are and how so ready for school. Eva wrote her name in Egyptian too.

03.01.2022 We have had a lovely day and welcomed Frankie to our group. Outside we have planted our flowers and explored the yard and what's growing. Inside the group had lunch in the lounge while Norah slept, we did drawing and lots of dressups in Xmas gear and dancing.
