23.01.2022 Thanks to the efforts of Victorians, some restrictions have now eased Some parks and forests have reopened for exercise and recreation. Boat ramps have re...opened, and recreational boating and fishing is now permitted. If you're visiting parks or forests, there's a few things to keep in mind: 1) Groups are capped at 10 people. 2) Maintain a physical distance of 1.5m from other people at all times (except the ones you live with). 3) Take extra care with hygiene, be sure to bring hand sanitiser. 4) Camping is not allowed, and some parks and forests are still closed. 5) Remember, if you can stay at home you must stay at home. For more information, visit: www.ffm.vic.gov.au/media-releases/park-and-forest-closures

20.01.2022 With the current COVID-19 restrictions in place Bindaree Outdoor Education and Camp Toolangi were not able to run all of our scheduled programs resulting in a large amount of food no longer being required. Bindaree knew this was an opportunity where we could help. Bindaree Outdoor Education teamed up with WEC https://wec.com.au/opportunities who were able to distribute the food to organisations who assist people in need. This included Betel http://www.betel.org.au ‘Restoring people with life controlling problems to productive, independent lifestyles.’ who were able to assist people in Melbourne. Every little donation counts and Bindaree Outdoor Education will continue to assist where we can.
