If youre suffering and still open and can think of ways that the community can still support you while we are trying to limit exposure let our families know below Open for business no change?... Wanting people to buy a gift voucher? Call ahead for a take away meal? Online shopping? Home deliveries? And finally who can fill a large order of hot chips and gravy for some precious little people on Thursday because its on the menu!! Whoops

18.01.2022 A perfect present from one of our families this year... suits us well! Such an emotional week as we say goodbye to some of our little friends... cuddles then tears and more cuddles and more tears. ... We are so fortunate to spend time with children during their formative years and will forever be able to hold the special memory of them as their precious little selves in our hearts both of us full of awe and wonder! Our door is always open for visits because we will miss you... never stop playing!

14.01.2022 Bindarra is so fortunate to be a second home to these 3 amazing humans who have all been here for more than 10 years. Overall staff turnover at Bindarra is very low and we attribute that to the fact that each Educator is empowered to work in a way that honours whats best for children. ... Congratulations Ladies! We love you!

13.01.2022 On Friday we held our Kindergarten Celebration! We deliberately dont call it a Graduation because we want to honour the children and families for ALL their time spent at Bindarra; some have been with us since infancy... some we celebrated after a decade of caring for the whole family! We also want to ensure that there is no ostracising but only admiration for the families who make the decision to stay with us another year, because thats what is best... for their child. Although we will shed tears; its never goodbye; its see you soon... because our door is always open!

13.01.2022 Sometimes as Educators we bare witness to play as it unfolds before us. Not needed; in fact we may be altering the learning or opportunities taking place if we did intervene. All of these children; aware of each other, respectful of each others spaces but doing their own thing and given time and space to do so. In this moment I wasnt needed to extend language; building on concepts; expand anyones zone of proximity. I was just fortunate to be a witness to their important work, play!

12.01.2022 Thanks to all who were able to come support Bindarras Garage Sale today! We made $444.45! Lots of excellent quality clothing and some Bric-a-Brac left, going to Baby Give Back and the Salvation Army. Families are welcome to have a shop through it on Tuesday morning.... Appreciate the donations, helpers and shoppers! These funds are going towards new washable mats. P.S to the lovely lady who purchased the double pram, call the centre please as we have an additional accessory for it for you!

11.01.2022 Thank you Woolworths Booval for kickstarting our Discovery Garden! We loved making this with the children. We are on the hunt for a radish if anyone has a spare.... Bindarra would happily take any additional seedlings from anyone who doesnt want them. We have plenty of eager gardeners! Thanks

07.01.2022 It is with a heavy heart that we let our community know that our sweet Bearded Dragon Ginger passed away through the night. Special thanks to Booval Veterinary Hospital for taking good care of her. After being with us for seven years it was just her time, may she rest peacefully knowing she was very much loved.
