09.01.2022 THANK YOU for the incredible response we received for BINDI BOSSES TEDX DANCE PERFORMANCE 2021 PATTASU, meaning firecracker, is a very special part of our performance. It's a Kuthu-inspired song by Tamil-Canadian vocalist, rapper, lyricist & composer @navz_47. Kuthu/Koothu is a style of folk dance originating from the Southern Indian villages of Tamil Nadu. It is traditionally performed as part of funeral procession to celebrate the life of the dearly departed with an emphas...is on percussion and raw expression of emotion. PATTASU also marks the first time that our younger BINDI BOSSES choreographed and performed together outside of rehearsal space so make sure to show some love in the comments for their work To watch the whole video, LINK IN BIO Performers:@shyamla.e,@sarangi.r,@ragavi__ragavan,@karma_sx,@divsax,@sakshibee, @jes_subba,@shankari.j Song(s): Pattasu by @navz_47 Creative Director: @shyamla.e Costume Design/Stylist: @meerabypoornimasharma Henna-style Face & Body Art: @hennabynubaisha . . .
