14.01.2022 Looking for something to do in January? I will be running a Dru Yoga and Mindful Intention workshop for the Stirling Street Arts Centre 2021 Summer School. This will involve a 90 minute Dru Yoga class followed by a scrumptious morning tea. After this we will mindfully consider the year ahead and learn about the psychology of Vision Boards. Then participants will be let loose to create their own 2021 Vision Board to guide and inspire them for the year ahead. Due to COVID it ...is still BYO yoga mat, water, cushion and blanket, however everything else will be provided. The workshop will take place in Studio 5 which is one of the newly built areas at the SSAC and this space should be rather wonderful to work in. If this appeals to you then please be aware that you need to book with the Stirling Street Arts Centre as it is in conjunction with their Summer School. I have attached their website for you to use. 12.01.2022 As our second COVID year begins it's a great time to think about taking time for self care. Eating and sleeping well are important for a healthy immune system as is regular exercise. If you're interested in trying Pilates then maybe a Beginners' Pilates Class is just what you need. Pilates is an exercise class that increases core stability and works the main stabilising muscles in your body. It improves your posture and helps to strengthen and tone the entire body workin...g with any muscle imbalances in the body from a whole body perspective. I will be running a 9 week Beginners' Pilates Class in Boyanup and Donnybrook during the school term. Classes will be 60 minutes long with a brief warm up activation at the beginning leading into some Pilates and ending with a lovely short relaxation. All classes are pay in advance and spaces are limited so you will need to book. See the flyer below for more information. Hope to see you there.

Dru Yoga works on the body, mind and spirit - improving your strength and flexibility, creating core stability, building a heightened feeling of positivity, and is deeply relaxing and rejuvenating for your whole body. I will be running Dru Yoga classes in Donnybrook and Boyanup during the school term. This term we will be looking at ways to Keep Calm and Carry Om. We will stretch, breathe and relax, gently calming our ...body, mind and spirit. We will look at a variety of ways to take this calm off our mat and start weaving it into our daily life. 05.01.2022 Spring is most definitely here. The days are getting longer and hopefully soon they’ll be a little warmer too. The seasons have a direct effect on our health and wellbeing. Spring is the season for rebirth, renewal and re-growth. Now is the time to look after your liver, cleanse your body, Spring clean, and ease your way out of hibernation. Beginners’ Pilates Classes resume next week and after a three week break it will be great to return to a weekly exer...cise routine. Let’s ease ourselves out of hibernation and pick up the pace. As per usual we will be working on the mat aiming to increase our core stability and work the main stabilising muscles in the body. Thursday evening class is usually pretty full but Thursday morning has plenty of room for anyone who's a Pilates beginner and just wants to give it a go. This is a free event where I will be offering 90 minutes of Dru Yoga followed by a relaxing cuppa. It is suitable for beginners too so if you've always wanted to try a Dru Yoga class but never had the time then join us and give it a whirl.
