25.01.2022 "Take time to do what makes your soul happy". - Unknown. For me, taking photos makes my soul happy. It's where I can zone out and go into my happy place.... And my soul was really happy when I was taking photos of these beauties that our best mate planted for his bees. I'm not sure there is a happier flower. I’ve posted 2 different edits of this photo - the first is in my usual Bindi style, but the second is a bit different for me. I’d love to know which you prefer! (Checkout my Blog for more photos of these gorgeous sunnies! I'll put the link in the comments.)

25.01.2022 Horses can be such inquisitive creatures... Especially when there’s a camera poking out from under the fence (This is one of those unintentional sun flares I was talking about in my post the other day ). I was going to share a different photo with you tonight but it wasn’t to be so I hope you enjoy this one instead

25.01.2022 I’ve been meaning to share this guy for a while.. Isn’t he a handsome fella? It’s far too hot up here in Central Queensland for Highland cows, so Charolais bulls with their winter locks is the closest I’m going to get

23.01.2022 I love how golden hour makes everything look sparkly We took our kids for a ride on a friend's harvester over the weekend while they were harvesting chickpeas. I love how these photos turned out!

23.01.2022 Do you ever get the feeling you're being watched? Hehehe...

23.01.2022 We sure do get some beautiful sunsets here in Central Queensland This was Sunday's sunset, taken on Bonnie Doon Road at Yamala, near the new CQ Inland Port. It's the new Graincorp silos in the photo - how thoughtful of them to build them somewhere I can use them as photo subjects

23.01.2022 We went to the beach! So that's why my page was very quiet the couple of weeks before Christmas. Then we had the busyness of Christmas so the quietness continued Did you miss me? I hope you’re ready for some beach photos! I have a few to share from our holiday. This is one of those photos that turned out just as I had hoped! (I’ve said it before, but I really do love it when that happens).... I would love to know your pick! The colour or black & white?

22.01.2022 I think I have finally locked in my 2021 Rural Calendar photos! *Insert happy dance here* I've been procrastinating for almost a month, and I've come up with about 50 different possible photo layouts (and that's not even exaggerating)... but... I think I have FINALLY got 12 photos and a layout I'm happy with... And this beautiful boy made the cut!

22.01.2022 Bauhinia Park Bull Sale 2020 - This Wednesday!

22.01.2022 It's been a while since I've shared a panoramic photo, so I hope you guys enjoy this one! This was taken late in the afternoon, facing East, so opposite to where the sun was. I did some googling and these sunrays are called "Anticrepuscular rays". This is what Wikipedia says about them: "Anticrepuscular rays, or antisolar rays, are meteorological optical phenomena similar to crepuscular rays, but appear opposite of the Sun in the sky. Anticrepuscular rays are essentially pa...rallel, but appear to converge toward the antisolar point, the vanishing point, due to a visual illusion from linear perspective." (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anticrepuscular_rays) I'd seen them before, but didn't know their technical term! And now you do too

21.01.2022 I love how dust adds layers to a photo that wouldn’t be there otherwise

21.01.2022 Just peeking over to say hello! I don't know about you but I blinked and suddenly it's Sunday night! How did you spend your weekend?

21.01.2022 Sometimes it's the imperfections that make the photo. This is one of those photos that is not technically correct - I had the camera on the completely wrong settings (I was photographing something else when I heard them squarking above me), so the cockatoos aren't sharp and are a little fuzzy, but I think that's what makes the photo because it shows the movement of them flying.

20.01.2022 How handsome is this young fella. He knows how to work it for the camera

18.01.2022 This is the post I was going to share with you last night but I'm sharing it tonight instead! It's a nice post, don't you think? Who would like to see a before and after of this one?

17.01.2022 I’ve just ordered my copy of issue #4 and can’t wait to see this baby printed! If you haven’t already checked out the Kickin Up Dust page, do it now! They share the most amazing photos, and the magazine is awesome.

17.01.2022 This is a photo I got of a storm that was near Springsure a few weeks ago. Getting a photo of lightning without a tripod is really rather difficult - this was taken out of the window of my car (so no tripod) - so I was pretty excited to get this one, even if the lightning is only little. Can you see it? There were storms around again today and a nasty one hit Comet. I was out taking photos just out of Emerald to the south, and we had to stop and take cover for a little whil...e until the storm and rain had passed, but so thankful we didn't get any hail or the bad winds! And we kept shooting after the rain had stopped ;) Camera & settings for anyone interested... Nikon D750, Tamron 24-70mm lens at 50mm 1/25 sec., f5, ISO 640,

17.01.2022 Do you remember that windmill sunset photo I shared a while ago? Would you believe this was the very next photo I took on my camera after the windmill photo, on the same day, just seconds apart? It's amazing how different the colours and landscape can be just by looking a different direction. Windmill photo: Looking West. Railway tracks: Looking North. I hope you like it! ... (In case you don't know what windmill photo I'm talking about, I'll put it in the comments).

17.01.2022 Can you see the willie wag tails? They must have a nest somewhere near my old truck, because I often see them in it. (I don't think their nest is in it, but haven't actually checked ) There's more storms around this afternoon and we have washing on the line... but I am NOT taking it off! It would be nice to get under some rain that lasts longer longer than 2 minutes!

16.01.2022 Something never change Here I am, 2 years later, still having a hard time choosing Calendar photos... Maybe I need to get these two to 'help' again

16.01.2022 Today's sunset was AMAZING! I am insanely jealous of anyone who had a great view of it because all I could see was glimpses of it through our paddock of trees.. I was very much wishing I had a drone tonight to get above the treeline! It was one of those sunsets that wrapped around the full 360 degrees. (I think we also need a dozer hahaha). I did manage to get this photo of it with one of my old trucks though, which is better than nothing

14.01.2022 How amazing are these flowers! They are on Leichardt Bean Trees at my Dad & Mum's place and some of the trees are just completely covered in flowers. They look magnificent! I'm working on a Blog post of more photos so watch this space, but in the meantime I might put a sneaky photo in the comments

12.01.2022 "If God made anything more beautiful than horses, he kept it for himself." - Unknown This beautiful boy and three of his friends are currently living in our paddock! I am LOVING having some big animals around to take photos of and my kids think it's great seeing horses on a daily basis

10.01.2022 I haven’t done one of these for a while - what’s your fave - Colour or Black & White? I’d love to know your thoughts I’m lucky my family are so patient with me. I may have had to get my brother to drive up and down the driveway a couple of times so I could get this shot the way I wanted But I think it was worth it

10.01.2022 I feel like this photo has a twinkle to it and I love it! (All sun flares and starbursts in my photos are 100% real and not photoshopped! Although I will admit, sometimes they are accidental )

09.01.2022 It’s the first of December! Can you believe it?? And do you know what that means?... It’s only 24 days until Christmas and less than a month until you’ll need to swap over to a new calendar! I still have some of these babies left and they make great Christmas presents, or would look great hanging on your wall Visit my website or send me a message to order

09.01.2022 This friendly bloke is trying to sniff out whether there are any night owls still up ;) Do I have a very long list of jobs I should be doing? Yes. Should I be going to bed? Probably. Am I procrastinating and doing things I shouldn't be? Absolutely. ... But I am working on some new blog posts! My blog has been extremely neglected since I became a mumma and I'm in the process of getting some new groups of photos together to share with you :D (But 'Queen of Procrastination' over here might take a while to actually post them, so don't hold your breath waiting for them) :P

09.01.2022 Last year, my 2020 Calendar just fell into place... This year it's being a little bit more difficult... I'm really having trouble choosing which combination of photos to use for my 2021 Calendar! I guess having too many to choose from is a good thing, right?

08.01.2022 Anyone else missing the sight of green grass and waiting for rain?

06.01.2022 I was trying to decide what photo to share with you all tonight and it started raining! I don't think it will last long, but it helped me at least decide what photo to share with you all ;) I took this photo of my baby girl playing in the rain a few weeks ago, on the same afternoon there was that amazing sunset when my camera battery went flat! If you haven't seen the other photos I posted, check them out because the sky really was amazing! The smell of rain is one of my favourite smells! What about you?

06.01.2022 Here's another photo of Tuesday's epic sunset - this was my view through our trees. It really was beautiful. I've added a few photos of the sunset to my Blog if you want to check it out - https://www.binditaneal.photography//spectacular-sunset-8d Also I still have calendars left for anyone still wanting one! Message me or go to my website to order :)

05.01.2022 A bit late (but those of you who know me will know I’m never on time )... From our family to yours, Merry Christmas! I hope everyone had a magical day. I also just wanted to take the opportunity to say a big THANK YOU for all your support throughout 2020! It really means a lot

05.01.2022 My two cuties being farm kids with Grandma (and Milo ). Next time I'll have to dress them in different clothes so they look like farm kids

04.01.2022 I may have a slight obsession with starbursts and sun flares at the moment... Can you tell? I took this photo back in 2013 so there's a pretty good chance my old trusty Nikon D90 camera did all the work on this one, but I still love it! I rediscovered it a few weeks ago and did a quick couple of tweaks in Lightroom on it. Hope you like it!

03.01.2022 Happy happy Sunday! I was able to get some more photos of the sunflowers and bees yesterday! I think I might have to plant some in my garden next year...

01.01.2022 I didn't know what to post tonight, so I'm just going to leave this one here
