25.01.2022 This Sunday we are going to dive in (pun intended) to the book of Jonah. Maybe you know the story, maybe it is a little too fanciful for your liking. But maybe, like Jonah himself, you have forgotten a few things about God? Take a look this Sunday, 9:30am.
23.01.2022 This week we continue in the book of Jonah. If you find the story of man being swallowed by a fish to hard to ....well...swallow then come and join the discussion. The very idea is difficult to get our heads around, but then so is God and his mercy on people like us.
20.01.2022 Look at an optical illusion and you may think you're seeing things such as the lines below which are actually all straight and parallel. It's not your eyes but your mind that is tricking you. Sometimes we see things in our world and life where again our minds and emotions can trick us into getting reality wrong. The church in Smyrna in the 1st Century was in danger of being tricked by what they saw, instead of embracing the reality that Jesus had brought to their lives. Come this Sunday at 10:00am in the hall to hear what was said to them and us about from the bible about sticking with the reality that Jesus brings. Stay for a shared lunch afterwards. See you then.
19.01.2022 It is always harder to love than to be right. Sometimes we can have full heads and empty hearts. The church in Ephesus made that mistake. Come this Sunday and find out what God had to say about it to them and to you. See you at 9:30am in the main church building.
19.01.2022 This Sunday at 9:30am come and stand in the shoes of Habakkuk once again. Come and work out what faith really is and how it brings life when our faith is in the right person.
19.01.2022 How did I get here? It's a question you might ask when you find yourself at rock bottom. Certainly it is a question that has been asked before. In the history of God's people was there ever a lower period than in the times of the prophet Habakkuk? This week we begin a journey through his world and writings to discover the grace and hope of a God who is not unaware of our struggles and does something about it that is truly amazing. Come for church at 9:30 this Sunday to begin the series with us.
18.01.2022 This Sunday - 10:00am in the hall we will welcome our Bishop Rick Lewers as he visits us and speaks about Grabbing onto Grace. Stay for lunch afterwards. Bring something to share if you can. Everyone is always welcome.
17.01.2022 This Sunday church meets in the Roxy Theatre at 9:00am as we join in with the Bingara Youth Muster. Come and be encouraged with great music, teaching and about 150 young people celebrating true joy in Jesus.
17.01.2022 This Sunday church is at 10:00am in the hall followed by lunch together. Bring something to share, but even if you can't bring something make sure you are still there. (There is always enough food). And don't forget that you get a sleep in this Sunday, as daylight saving ends.
16.01.2022 No one likes it when someone else is in charge! How do we deal with the fact that God has placed Jesus in charge of everything? Come this Sunday at 9:30am where we will hear what the bible has to say. This week will also be Lord's Supper during the service.
13.01.2022 Words are powerful. But God's words have the power to overturn a whole city. Find out how God used a recalcitrant and rebellious prophet to deliver His word to those considered enemies. See how they were indeed overturned. 9:30am this Sunday.
13.01.2022 Depending on how much you have read of the bible you might have come across some tricky and sticky bits. Like the parts that mention God's people Israel being told by God to go and totally destroy the Canaanites or the Amalekites. These parts of the bible rightly make you shudder and wonder how a loving God could command such things? Some people shake their head and walk away, others gloss over or ignore it. What should we do? How should we understand this? How should we react? Come this Sunday at 10:00am in the hall to find out. Stay for lunch and enjoy the fellowship.
13.01.2022 This Saturday - 7th of May from 9:00am. Household items, produce, bake sale and plants. Car boot sale places for $5. Come down and grab a bargain.
11.01.2022 Forgiveness: either you will not forgive and become captive to bitterness or you become captive to God and able to forgive. This Sunday (1st of May) we are talking about forgiveness and how it is done. Church starts at 10:00am in the hall and follows with lunch together. Bring something to share, but even if you can't bring something make sure you are still there. (There is always enough food).
06.01.2022 Another great time of fellowship over lunch after church and even an AGM. Thanks everone for an ecouraging morning.
05.01.2022 This Sunday we welcome David Greef, former CMS missionary to Namibia in western Africa. David will tell of his experiences in Africa and the great work of CMS (church missionary society). We gather at 10:00am in the hall and then join together for lunch afterwards.
05.01.2022 Sometimes we deliberately forget. Whether it was a diet or a chore, we sometimes forget it on purpose. But do you deliberately forget what God says? Sunday 5th of June we will be doing some deliberate remembering. Church starts at 10:00am in the hall and then stick around for lunch.
04.01.2022 This Sunday, 9:30am come and ask along with the prophet Habakkuk, "How long O Lord?" How long will God allow evil to triumph in the world? We will also be partaking in the Lord's Supper.
04.01.2022 How do we respond when our circumstances get us down, when everything goes wrong, when all that we hold dear seems dashed. We wait. We wait upon the Lord. How? See what Habakkuk did in his day and find out what we should do in our day. This Sunday 10:00am int he hall. After church we will have our church's annual general meeting which will go for about 45 mins and then we stick around for lunch together. All welcome.
01.01.2022 Our new youth group kicked off last night. A joint effort between Bingara and Warialda Anglican. Great food, fun and hearing about Jesus, the man who is God.
01.01.2022 Welcome to our FB page. Our regular service times are 9:30am each Sunday. On the first Sunday of the month we meet a bit later at 10:00am in the hall. After this we share lunch together. You are always welcome to come alone. You don't need to be religious, a believer or anything. Just open to explore who Jesus is, what he has done and what he calls us to do in response. This page will be updated to keep everyone informed of what is happening. Please follow us.
