22.01.2022 Cooking in Stage 6 English Stage 6 English Studies students have been completing the mandatory module: Achieving Through English English in education, work and community. To finish the term, they have been discussing their rights and responsibilities when moving out of home after school. On Tuesday, with Mrs Pleffer and Mrs Boyle, students got to cook one healthy, budget friendly meal. Mrs Pleffer discussed with students how to bulk out a meal with vegetables and how one dish can be adapted in multiple ways to create a number of different meals over consecutive days. Students were surprised how much they enjoyed it despite all of the vegetables. They prepared enough for 17 serves which cost an impressive $2.50 per serve! Mrs Pleffer | Classroom Teacher

21.01.2022 Debating success It was announced yesterday that our Stage 3 Premiers Debating Challenge team the Bingara Central Boomers were the Zone Winners as they were the only team to win all 3 debates! This is very exciting news for our school as we have only been participating in this competition for two years! This means we move onto the finals, very early next term our team will debate against the George’s Hall Public School All Stars! 03.01.2022 Kindergarten 2021 Any parent that has not yet advised the school of their child starting Kindergarten in 2021, are asked to contact the school to arrange filling in an enrolment form. Enrolment forms will need to be completed and returned in week 1 of Term 4 for your child to begin orientation at the school. A date for parent information night will be advised after revision of COVID restrictions when school returns.
