Two weeks of great OSHC shows, time for a Bex and a little lie down! Thanks to all the OSHC's that asked me to visit this holidays!

17.01.2022 It's been really hectic over the holidays with lot's of birthday parties, events and OSHC magic shows, with puppet and paper plane workshops and tomorrow, a Magic School! What fun!!
15.01.2022 I had the privilege of visiting a residential care facility at Klemzig. It was a fun time. When I arrived there was a lovely lady sitting at a table by the big windows, quietly reading a book. I said hello, and I received a quite reserved response. The sort of response one gets from a octagenarian, we’ve all had them! The staff moved the room around for the show and Mel moved from the window and quietly watched my antics. I saw her smile and even laugh a couple of times...!! After the show Ginger went around the room and said hello to everyone, posed for photos and tried to chat up the ladies and avoid upsetting the blokes!! To say he was a hit is a small understatement and he reminded me of that fact all the way home!! Mel, our book reading octagenarian, was quietly sitting in the corner and the last person Ginger went too. When he sidled up next to her and said hello, well I’ve never seen a smile as wide. It really made my day and made it all worthwhile! I haven’t performed in Residential Care facilities for a number of years, Mel made me wonder why today! 13.01.2022 Had to take this photo. I have been fortunate to be a regular visitor at this OSHC over the last few years and today I couldn't resist a photo of their wall murial. What a backdrop for a magic show!!

04.01.2022 Ginger and I had the joy of visiting a Senior Cits facility in the Adelaide Hills today and had a lot of fun there. He did his thing, had some photo's taken and I was just about to put him away when one of the old dears asked '...but how does he talk?' '...ummm I help.' Was the faint reply with five minutes talking about ventriloquism! Thank heavens I tell OSHC kids about the history of vent and had something to offer.
02.01.2022 I had a great time at Tamara's 30th birthday show today. I was really touched by the thankyou card that I received for my efforts. Happy birthday Tamara!
02.01.2022 I got a lovely thankyou note from @heartkidssouthaustralia yesterday. As a result of Two Feet and a Heartbeat last month $38k was raised!! WOW what a great result and a pleasure to help a great organisation.
01.01.2022 It was great to help @heartkidssouthaustralia with the Two Feet and a Heartbeat walk today and a privilege to be part of the virtual activities for the virtual activities for this important fundraiser! The kids were great fun to do some magic with this morning and is a great cause!
