23.01.2022 Kakadu Bird Week - ngarradj song by Jill Nganjmirra. Jill and her family used to listen to elders telling this story about the sulphur-crested cockatoo, who goes looking for the nuts of the pandanus tree. These nuts hang from the branches and drop to the ground. The cockatoo gets excited and sings this song while biting the nuts, then has a full belly.https://youtu.be/ZjqZ2DLrNqI

09.01.2022 If you're trying to get your head and tongue around Kunwinjku verbs like ka-re, kabirri-ngun or wam, and feel almost like you want to throw in the towel, it's worth having a listen to Murray Guard from a few years ago giving the low down in these podcasts. Take them a bit at a time, and in between go out there and practise! https://bininjkunwok.org.au/audio/
