17.01.2022 We are happy to announce that the club will be able to trade as Take away ONLY. We will be re assessing this monthly, but at this stage are willing to try what we can to help support our staff and community in creating some sort of normality in these ever changing times.

17.01.2022 Due to government regulations, at this stage we regret to inform members and guests that the club will need to close their doors until otherwise notified. THE GOOD NEWS We are open for trade until 12:30 today. Come in and pick up takeaways and cigarettes and maybe have a couple of schooners before we shut our doors. The board are working close with our staff to help support them in these times and will maintain the premises and business so when regulations are lifted and all is well with the world, we can open our doors again.

16.01.2022 It is with a heavy heart that we notify our members and guests of the passing of Bruce Smith. Bruce was a life member of the club and an integral part of the operations of the bowling club for over 20 years! Our deepest sympathy to Bruce’s family. We ask that Bruce’s family be given the privacy they need and that we remember Bruce with the dignity and respect that he deserves. Rest In Peace.

12.01.2022 Binnaway Bowling Club are abiding by all recommendations by Clubs NSW to protect the health of patrons and staff. We are still trading as normal, but when you visit the bowlo you will see our staff wiping down and cleaning heavy traffic areas, e.g. bar, pokies ,toilets etc. We are committed to making your club a safe place to frequent during these trying times. We will try to keep our patrons updated as more information comes to hand.

11.01.2022 Come down to the bowlo Saturday at 1.30pm for a practice Roll Up. Social distancing and sanatising rules apply. Both greens are open. Maximum 10 people per green.

10.01.2022 The easing of restrictions have allowed clubs and pubs to re open June 1st. Unfortunately our club will not have all procedures in place to open at this time. We are working tirelessly to get through the red tape so we can welcome you all back ASAP. Please be patient, it won’t be long! On a positive note, we have made good use of our time shut. We hope our patrons will be pleasantly surprised at the new look we are creating.

07.01.2022 Australia day @ the bowlo, come on down and enjoy the arvo with a game of bowls, thong toss comp, biggest carp (length) best dressed aussie theme and of course a slip and slide for the kiddies (bore water) music by dj ree and sausage sangas on the barbie. Kicking off around 2pm with names in by 2:30pm for bowls @ 3pm. We hope to see you there.

06.01.2022 Attention Members and Guests: Recently it was announced that Clubs will be allowed to open tomorrow, Friday 15th May 2020; although this is with very tight restrictions only allowing 10 patrons in the bistro area - no bar service or gaming allowed. Due to these restrictions the Binnaway Bowling Club have decided we will not be allowing dine in services. Take away bar sales will continue as normal.... Practice roll ups on the greens will be permitted in groups of four only. Please be mindful of social distancing rules. As we can only allow 10 per green it would be greatly appreciated, if players wish to take up this opportunity, that they notify the club so we can adhere to government regulations. Strictly no alcohol consumption. If players do not adhere to these restrictions the club will have no choice other than to close the greens to general public. We would like to thank all of our members and guests for your patience and support during these strange and difficult times. We look forward to a time when we can have you all back at the Club. Thank you.

05.01.2022 The Bowlo is Re-opening Friday! Bar service and pokies only at this point. NO BISTRO, RAFFLES OR KENO. Trial opening hours are: Friday 3pm-8pm Saturday 2pm-6pm... Sunday 1.30pm-5pm Tuesday to Thursday 3pm-6pm Hours may vary depending on patronage. We recommend calling ahead to make sure the club is not at capacity of patrons. All visitors to the club must sign in and out and provide contact details. Social distancing and sanitising MUST be adhered to at all times. See more
