03.01.2022 Hi everyone, in case you're wondering how Paul Kiviiri is getting on with the new toilets for the school that we supported as a church, here's some news and some pictures! The new School Latrine How so far we have gone... Achievement: Three quarters of the fund have been utilized successfully With quarter remaining 6 Stanzas (cubicles) will be completed by MidJuly The funds were used to; Purchase required materials including Labour Work of unearthing a deep hole of 40ft down Bags of cement, trips of stones, iron bars, trips of sand , stone dust etc Constructors : Local builders were engaged with this work not a company Challenge : work was abandoned in the first one Month after heavy rains poured spoiling the first 20 ft that had been done Below I report how far this work has been done though at a slow pace due to rains but the boys have resumed work and by Mid July the school will have at least a recommendable school Latrine. Latrine: That can be defined as a deep pit dug under ground for access as Toilet. Required stanzas 8 completed 6 with a small titled space for adult girls. Uncompleted underground septic as added bathroom access mainly for Girls Still yet One stanza at Final stages Inside one of the Bathroom Tiles fixed and ready to use it is double useable as Latrine and ( no shower bathroom) Finishing touches Concrete into which more 4 Stanzas are to be raised Please note that this consecrate base bears a deep pit of 40 ft soon to be established are structures Hi Paul, thank you for these photos. It really helps for our church members to see what the funds raised have been spent on, and how the progress is going. Please keep us up to date as the project completion nears. 02.01.2022 Paul Kiviiri shares this great news with us about recognition he has received for his service to the community in education through the school he runs. The numbers are incredible! Dear Friends Am happy to report that I was among those few recognized individuals by the Kiboga District through Education Department as those who have offered a selfless service towards the Education of our community The Regional District is called Kiboga... In presence of a big gathering of Regional Leaders mainly from Education Department / Ministry I was among the 6 only specially recognized for what was termed as a selfless commitment to the Education of our community Our school has passed over 3000 Candidates, over 20,000 have at least attained Primary level school teaching I thank you all for your prayers and support you have continued to offer us through the years Thank you so much! Paul
