15.01.2022 Everyone has had the experience of having a bad nights sleep at some stage. I know I did when my daughter was a baby but I knew it was for a relatively short period of time. That didnt make getting through each sleep-deprived day easier though. Some of the symptoms of being short changed on sleep are things like being grumpy or snappy, foggy thinking, just feeling tired, having low energy, not being interested in doing much and being emotional. It is possible to go on fun...ctioning with sub-standard sleep but sooner or later it is going to take its toll. So if you wake up tired most of the time and you cant figure out why then it may be the radiation around you. Im not talking about gamma rays or X-rays but rather the non-ionising radiation or EMF that is supposedly safe. EMF is generated by our electrical gadgets and it has been shown to have a direct effect on melatonin production. If you havent come across melatonin before it is known as the sleep hormone but if your sleep is problematic you probably already know that. What you need to do is have a really close look in and around your bedroom and remove any of your electronic items. Look for :- - Phone beside your bed. Include your mobile, cordless, or DECT, phone. Cordless phones often emit more EMF than a mobile phone. - TV. Big screen TVs can emit a lot of radiation especially if they are Wi-Fi enabled and you operate them using a remote control. - Bedside clock. Especially if it is electrical. - Electric blanket. I know it is summer but many people leave these plugged in and on at the wall. These can be a surprisingly large part of the problem for some people because they are so close to your body. As it gets colder try not using the electric blanket but if you must then turn it off and unplug it from the wall when you get into bed. Those are the main things but you may have other electrical things. Just move them out of your bedroom. Now have a good look at where your bed is and what is on the other side of the wall and where your power points are. You are looking specifically for things that could be emitting strong fields and especially if they are near your head when you are sleeping. Be aware of power boxes, fuse boxes, modems or large appliances especially TVs or fridges and if they are directly behind the wall your bed is on then move your bed. Also, turn off your Wi-Fi modem at night. It creates a disruptive field and you dont need it while you are asleep. These are relatively simple changes you can make that can give you a much better nights sleep which can help you to feel so much better as you go about your life. Be aware of what changes for you because you may not notice that your sleep is better! Of course if you have severe sleep problems you should always consult your medical practitioner. 04.01.2022 Why the Radiation From Your Phone Makes you Feel Tired Your phone emits and receives radiation. That's how it works, if it didn't do that then you wouldn't get any calls and you wouldn't be able to look up random things like what you can do with unripe macadamia nuts. The radiation from your phone is called non-ionising radiation and it has an effect on you at a biological level. Right down at a cellular level.... You might not necessarily think that would make a big difference but, when it goes on all the time, it can. A bit like Chinese water torture... These days it goes on all the time. Think about how you use your phone. Do you ever turn it off? Do you ever switch it into flight mode? Do you carry it in a pocket? In your bra? Now start thinking about how many people who use their phone in a similar way to how you use yours. Already you have a lot of radiation and this is just you and your friends. Now think about how a call finds your phone. Your phone essentially waves to a mobile tower and says here I am and as you move around it keeps waving to the nearest tower. It does so that when you get a call the towers know where to look for your phone. As you move around, every time your phone waves it emits slightly more radiation than when you are still. If the tower is further away then you phone is working harder and emitting more radiation. That is why if you have a poor connection you should move to somewhere that shows a better connection, then your phone is not emitting as much radiation to make a call. If you think about everyone else moving around with their phones waving at towers then you start to get an idea of how much radiation there could be around you. Chinese water torture by radiation. What all of this means is that your cells are not getting a break which is why you feel flat or tired. Turning your own phone and your Wi-Fi off at night at least reduces the amount or radiation close to you but will not change what is happening from sources you have no control over. There are many other small useful changes you can make to reduce the effect of phone radiation on your body, such as how far you are away from a tower and where you carry your phone.
