15.01.2022 I am very humbled to be preparing an acoustic recording session next week with Paul George from Tijuana Cartel. Paul will be bringing his Pedro Maldanado spruce top to play on my band How Did The Bird Fly’s only song to feature guitar - Heavy Hues. I am excited to be recording Paul, as his flamenco guitar style of playing is a perfect match for this track. I’m planning to run a stereo pair through Neve 1073 on his guitar. I’ll setup a mic back in the room through maybe a Hel...ios or 610 for some added vintage tone and warmth. Excited to do this session and hear the results.
