25.01.2022 This small treatment system located in Shanghai, is using a BioGill Tower to treat 8m3/day sewage, mixed with some industrial wastewater. The client chose our solution because it was quick to deploy, easy to install and ideal for a small, tight space. The influent COD is around 750ppm and NH3-N 45ppm. Following treatment, the effluent now successfully meets the local requirement for sewer discharge.

25.01.2022 Ten Towers have arrived onsite, ready to be installed in two sewage treatment projects at resorts in Sichuan province, China. Our bioreactors are part of two wastewater plants, one treating 50m3/day, the other 60m3/day, to improve onsite treatment to meet local regulations. 24.01.2022 For this #winery in Ningxia province, China, treating #wastewater is required to meet local environmental regulations. Two #BioGill Towers will soon be part of an onsite wastewater treatment solution. Treating up to 10m3/day of winery wastewater, the plant is designed to reduce COD from 3000 ppm down to 200 ppm.

22.01.2022 As we commemorate @WorldWaterDay this month, it's well worth reading this new report from the UN.

20.01.2022 Latest results are in from just two of the many craft breweries using our technology to treat wastewater onsite. At the first brewery in NSW, Australia, independent testing has shown BOD at 213mg/L in the effluent. While at a second brewery nearby, the latest testing reports BOD at 14mg/L prior to sewage discharge. Both sites are recording BOD levels well within the discharge requirement of <300mg/L, as set by the local water authorities. #beer #brewery #wastewater #sustainability #effluent #environment

12.01.2022 Two BioGill Towers have just landed at Wandana Brewing Co. in Mullumbimby (Byron Shire), ready to be installed by the owner. Onsite wastewater treatment was part of the local council's approval for this brand new brewery. BioGill was chosen for its easy-to-install design and proven performance. The wastewater is to be discharged to sewer, where BOD below 250 mg/L is required. Brewing is set to start next month. #craftbeer #craftbrewery #wastewater

12.01.2022 Three years ago, six BioGill Towers were installed at a Golf & Country Club in Australia, to treat sewage from a residential estate and wastewater from the Club’s restaurant and restrooms. Analysis of the effluent just in from an independent lab, shows the plant continues to treat well with BOD<20mg/L and TN<20mg/L, well within compliance. #wastewater #bod #wastewatertreatment #sewage

12.01.2022 At our newest project in China, a BioGill Tower is now treating 10m3/day sewage in a remote mountain area in Henan Province. Improving the quality of the effluent was essential, prior to environmental discharge into a nearby waterway. The modular nature of our solution made it easy to transport and install. #sustainability #wastewater #biological

11.01.2022 Great to see #brewing is now underway at Wandana Brewing Co. in Australia. This brand new #brewery installed two BioGill Towers to treat #wastewater onsite. 09.01.2022 Our systems have been granted approval for treating high-strength wastewater in Vermont, USA. Thank you to the State regulators for their support and to our local channel partner, Champlin Associates. With a booming food and beverage industry and growing numbers of craft breweries, maple syrup and dairy processors, we can now offer Vermont producers a highly effective, affordable solution for treating wastewater onsite.

08.01.2022 Following a very successful small-scale trial, Eco San in China has moved to a full-scale demonstration plant for an off-the-grid, closed-toilet system to improve sanitation for communities. For the biological stage of the treatment process, Eco San is using a BioGill Tower. Operating in Jiangsu Province, this demonstration plant is part of a global sanitation and toilet initiative aimed at finding innovative solutions for the 4.5+ billion people around the world with no access to safe sanitation facilities and services. #sanitation #sewage #biological #innovation

07.01.2022 Big shout out to our US team for delivering a technical presentation at the MBAA New England District’s Winter Meeting over the weekend. Held at the Anheiser-Busch brewery in Merrimack, New Hampshire, more than 100 brewers attended. Thank you to Jacob Paine, brewer at Woodstock Inn Brewery for joining us in presenting a case study on the brewery’s BioGill biological wastewater treatment system. Before our presentation, we learned that wastewater had been voted one of the top topics of interest among members for future technical presentations.

02.01.2022 To reduce BOD entering the local waterway, two BioGill Towers in are now treating 20m3 of sewage per day. Located in a rural community in Henan province, China, wastewater treatment prior to environmental discharge is required by the water authorities. Our Towers are an easy to transport, install and operate solution, ideal for remote locations.

01.01.2022 Here’s a snapshot of a video produced by the US Environmental Protection Agency which includes a BioGill system at Woodstock Inn Brewery.
