05.01.2022 Hi friends! We are collaborating with Sydney Production Company on an amazing documentary about Dementia and innovation in care for people living with dementia. It is a personal story of Australian journalist Renee Brack & her dad as she learned to understand what was happening with him & his illness through his art; and seeks hope for everyone touched by dementia. We have partnered with Dementia Australia and Alzheimers Assoc America and many other innovative organisatio...ns globally. We have a support from a leading Australian distributor for theatrical and global film festival distribution so we will be coming to a cinema near you! We aim to premiere the film during Dementia Awareness Week 2020. We have financed most of the film but need that last $300K to get us over the line. We are reaching out to you, to local businesses, to family and friends to donate whatever you can manage. $20, $50 it all adds up. Did you know Dementia is the leading cause of death for women? It affects 1 in every 10 Aussies over 65yrs and 1 in 3 people over 80yrs. This story has uncovered innovations in care that may help your mum or dad or even yourself. I would love it if you can help us bring this incredible project to fruition. The three filmmakers, Kristina Foster, Renee Brack and Kristen Hodges bring a vast amount of screen industry experience to this project. Our Executive Producer is the Emmy award winning, Ellenor Cox.
