17.01.2022 Introducing three amazing additions to the CrueltyFree FireAid event this Sunday! If you’re a plant person, green thumb, nature loving market goer - these th...ree will be your go to stalls! First up - we have Bird of Minerva, with Rachel selling her beautiful handcrafted Kokedamas! Get all your Kokedama care tips directly from Rachel on the day, her passion for talking about them is unmatched! You’ll soon see why they are such a popular plant - and a popular choice for an extra special gift! The Perth City Farm Nursery is a wonderful option for keen gardeners (of any ability!) attending. The huge range of herbs, plants and flowers means you can lose yourself in all the different options, as you listen to our amazing live music! Wanting to grow your own herbs? Foodies will love this stall too! Mystery Bloom arrived in the nick of time and we are so happy to have them attend! It’s so clear they love what they do, selling beautiful and thoughtful gifts, that grow into a living, blooming plant! Their packaging uses absolutely minimal plastic, with nothing that can’t be recycled or composted. So if you know any people who are, Nature Lovers happy to be outside Give-it-a-Go Gardeners Foodies who would LOVE homegrown herbs! Friends needing a little more green in their life! ... then please get the word out to them, about this special event this Sunday at Perth City Farm! @ Perth City Farm

16.01.2022 Let’s talk PROPAGATION!!! Luckily hubby got the hint (I’m talking screenshots ) for Xmas and further enabled my obsession! When I first started thinking about this little venture I guesstimated with hubby that my time on business activities would probably be 50% growing and 50% making. A few months in and that split is actually more like 80/20! While there is absolutely nothing wrong with the good old pop it in a pot and see how it goes, these hydroponic propagation stations are a great way to speed up the process!!!

13.01.2022 A little while ago I accidentally dropped a chisel on our glass table and it smashed into a million pieces. I thought it might come in handy so I hung onto it and found some slats from an old bed and a couple of old fridge shelves! Knocked it up today and it’s a perfect watering table!

12.01.2022 This gorgeous Duo is heading to a very special lady tomorrow! Luckily for her, it will be delivered by a very handsome young man

12.01.2022 Sharing my love of plants with the next generation is what it’s all about! My baby, with a temper to credit his mop of red hair, an imagination as large as the Great Wall of China and a love for his Mumma so massive it almost makes me cry

08.01.2022 I will be at this awesome event next Sunday, being held at Perth City Farms. Pop in and say hi and check out the other amazing stalls. 100% of stall holder fees to be donated to some very deserving organisations in this time of nation wide crisis. https://facebook.com/events/s/crueltyfree-fireaid/455968805074714/?ti=icl

06.01.2022 You may have noticed I’ve been a bit absent over the last couple of weeks, sorry I spent a week absolutely flat out in creative mode while my kids were holiday if with their grandparents (which meant 2 sleepless night and blisters upon blisters ). I’ve also been getting my eldest helper ready for her first year at boarding school, which has been both chaotic and extremely emotional Buttttttttt, I’m back! I have a BUNCH of new amazing ready to go stock, with some truly stunning pieces. I will upload individual photos and prices within the next week, but if you see something you love, feel free to PM/DM me for more info!

05.01.2022 Half of me is soooo excited for this week and the other half is wondering if my fingers will fall off So many goodies to turn into beautiful works of art! Heaps of Monstera and I can’t wait to see how they will turn out!

05.01.2022 My first experiment with edible Kokedamas! I love a challenge but was a bit nervous it wouldn’t take. I hold edibles for between 2 and 4 weeks to ensure they are settled and happy. This beauty was held for 4 weeks and once wrapped didn’t look backwards! Harvested at least 20 yummy baby toms before it went to its new owner!

05.01.2022 How awesome is family that are also friends? The most amazing woman @amber_jane1993 knew how mammoth the task ahead of me this week was and despite never having made a kokedama, stepped in and spent 2 days helping me!!!!! @amber_jane1993 you are a bloody legend and I feel so lucky to have you in my life

01.01.2022 I love a good production line!

01.01.2022 In my happy place!

01.01.2022 I love a good contrast! The beautiful, deep purple flower like Black Rose (Aeonium arboreum) teamed with the meandering String of Beans (Senecio radicans) makes for a gorgeous treat for the eyes!
