20.01.2022 Lancaster Tower - Dockside A multistory building with a service balcony on each level which housed air conditioning units. These units provide a great home for pigeons as the units provide warmth and protection from the elements.... Unfortunately the pigeon feces absorbs the moisture which has a high salt content being right beside the Brisbane River. This caused extensive corrosion issues with the air conditioning units not to mention cleaning, smell and health issues for residence. Our Solution We met with the building manager to inspect the problem and design a bird netting solution that would not detract from the aesthetics of the building.
