25.01.2022 More before and afters

24.01.2022 This skylight would keep leaking in heavy rain because leaves and debree would keep building up on the tin flashing tray underneath the roof tiles until the water would build up and spill over the lip of the tray i fixed this issue by cleaning the tray up and re flashing over it with a product called waka flex i had given it a larger area of flashing then i mould much bigger lips on it so this problem wont happen again i have done many of these and not had any call backs

24.01.2022 Its a New Year. Do you need or do you know someone who needs roofing repairs, a new roof or maybe an extension done? Give Jamie a call for an obligation free quote on 0411 147950. The pictures below are from an extension we did in Garran.

23.01.2022 With this job, I had to take off the tiles and remove the old battens to replace the sarking underneath. What you cant see is the work that is done near the wall of the second story section of the house. The tiles werent reaching underneath the lead enough so an extra batten and another row of tiles had to be placed there so that the tiles can then sit correctly under the lead and no further leaks can occur (this is what had caused all the holes in the sarking).

23.01.2022 Some pics of a job i just finished in kambah

23.01.2022 Here are a couple of examples of rebedding and repointing work on ridge capping that was done recently. If your ridge capping needs to be re-done or repaired please call Jamie on 0411 147 950 for an obligation free quote.

22.01.2022 This is a job i recently completed in Kambah where I rebedded and pointed the ridge capping and also cleaned and reflashed around a skylight that was leaking due to a faulty tray.

22.01.2022 Did you know whirlybirds extract heat from your roof? Depending on the size of your roof you may require one or two. If you would like to learn more about whirlybirds or if you are wanting one installed call Jamie on 04111 47950 for a free measure and quote.

22.01.2022 This is a job I had completed a few weeks ago in Florey where I rebedded and pointed the ridge caps and replaced 140 tiles and also removed two damaged skylights and replaced them with skylight tiles and also recut the tiles tighter into the metal gable ends

21.01.2022 Did you know we do roof extensions? Here are some photos from a recent roof extension I did in Charnwood. Call 0411 147 950 for a free quote. Canberra & Surrounds.

20.01.2022 This is a roof I recently repaired in Macgregor where the hail had put holes in the flashing because it was never moulded and worked into the tiles correctly and then someone tried to fix it with tape

20.01.2022 This is a job I completed in Dunlop where I grinded all the ridge caps clean with a electric grinder and repointed the roof . I also replaced a whirlybird that was damaged by the hail storm and replaced it with a new whirlybird

20.01.2022 This is a job that I did this year where I grinded all the ridge capping clean with an electric grinder first then re pointed it with Selleys dark grey coloured flexible pointing. If you do repairs to your roof before it gets too dilapidated you can just repoint the ridge caps without having to re bed and point your ridge caps which involves ripping up all the ridge capping and doing it again from scratch and also will save you alot of money.

19.01.2022 This is a rebed and point job i recently completed in Bruce

19.01.2022 This is a job where i recently bed and pionted the ridge capping in Lyons as you can see in a couple of the photos the fires were getting pretty close

17.01.2022 These are before and after photos I have taken of a roof I recently bedded and pointed in Kaleen.

17.01.2022 This is a job I worked on in Jerrabomberra that I repointed with Selleys flexible pointing. I prefer to bed and point the ridge caps but on this occasion I couldnt because the old mortar would not budge from the tiles without breaking them. Whenever I repoint a roof I always grind everything back on the tiles clean so the new pointing has something clean to bond to and lasts for many years.

17.01.2022 This is a job i just completed in Bruce and these are pictures of the split level section of the roof where the gable had started leaking in the recent storms and needed to be re built from scratch

16.01.2022 This is a job where I replaced two whirlybird vents that were damaged by the hail storm and were originally installed in a silly position on the roof in the way of the ridge capping

08.01.2022 When rebedding it is important to use a bedding rack as a guide to help keep the ridge line straight when apply the mud. For a free measure and quote, call Jamie 04111 47950.

06.01.2022 This is a job i completed in Nicholls where i bed and pointed the ridge capps and did alot of flashing work and also had to fix up and straighten a section of the roof that had collapsed

05.01.2022 This is a roof in Aranda that had some significant damage from the hail storm that hit canberra a few weeks back . There were 124 roof tiles that was damaged from the storm . I had to pull all the damaged ones out then pull tiles out from the bottom rowes of tiles at the back of the property and put them tiles all around where the damaged tiles were . Then i had to carry all the new tiles onto the roof and put them in the bottom rowes . The reasoning for this process is so that when the works completed you cant tell that i had even ever been on the roof

04.01.2022 Just like icing a cake

02.01.2022 This was a roof extension i did earlier this year

01.01.2022 This is a job i recently did in Holt and i had a little helper for a couple of days as well

01.01.2022 Weep holing of the ridge capping which is inserting a hole in the mortar to let any condensation drain out instead of it building up on the inside of the ridge and causing leaks.
