12.01.2022 This sweet little darling who come into care today is a newborn Crake or Rail chick. Being a precocial species he should be up eating scavanging with parents soon after hatching but this one has clearly had a set back. Hes quite thin and cannot stand. All he can do is lay on his belly. Eating fine and pooping but will be dropped to a vet for further asessmnet or euthanasia tomorrow
