25.01.2022 Stunning Erica wearing Silk Robe, Batswing Dress and scarves dyed with all natural dyes. I have been dyeing a rainbow of colours over the last few weeks. I am always so inspired by the colours in nature, so I decided to challenge myself to create natural dye colours which matched nature. At the moment, the Beach Almond Trees are changing their leaf colours from green to yellows, oranges, reds and purples when they fall, so I decided to try and create colours that matched these. This is what I created! Talk about a challenge! Me and Erica did this photo series on the weekend. It was so different for me to be looking through the lens with all these bright colours coming through! Thank you Erica you are amazing!

24.01.2022 Gorgeous Ami wearing BirdTribe Silk Crepe Handmade and naturally dyed Dress now available on Etsy. The silk crepe is beautifully soft and light and the leaf prints are subtle yellows, oranges and browns. It is handmade to a Size 10 (Australian size) The perfect dress for summer! 24.01.2022 New natural dyed scarves and shawls I have dyed over the last few weeks while doing my colour challenge. Happy with the variety of shades I have achieved. 18.01.2022 Happy New Year!!! So excited to get into the new year with new creative inspirations and directions. I did quite a few photo sessions with beautiful people last month and I am still getting through all the editing of the images. The curse of digital cameras is the hours of going through all the images and trying to decide which ones are the best. I have to admit I have found it overwhelming with 5 sessions of photos to go through. However there are always a few gems in there which make it all worthwhile and this is one of my favourites from my photo session with beautiful Yoko. She is wearing BirdTribe Merino Botanical Print top dyed with leaves. Love the vibrant orange/reds of this one. I don't usually do sales but I have had so much space and time to create and make so many things this year. 06.01.2022 It's been a great few days spending time with the Yuku Baja Muliku Rangers and the Junior Rangers. We have been learning about plants and bush dyes, trying lots of different plants to see if they make colour. The Rangers collected some Morinda and Red Mangrove for us also, which I really enjoyed experimenting with. The kids also enjoyed the surprise of unwrapping their creations from the dyeing pot. A huge thanks to Yuku Baja Muliku Rangers and Traditional Owners of the Archer Point area for having me on your country and for inviting me to come and work with you all. I had the best time and can't wait to come back to your gorgeous country!! I love it up here in the wild lands!!
