20.01.2022 So today I fixed up my little craft space and smudged and blessed it to create a beautiful soulful place where I can create with the intent of love and kindness, alters are not defined by certain things... they are what you require for daily practice the world is open to what brings you joy sending all my love up into the universe and deep down to mother earths core. This piece has been handmade with love and intent bringing with it only good, love, strength, compassion and kindness, each part of rope and twine has been soaked in full moon water and salt and the entire piece has been smudged of any negativity and a protection spell added, it's made from the amazing Date Palm which is ruled by the sun and connected to Sun God Ra in ancient Egypt scriptures. 18.01.2022 Creating my own personalized Crystal Grid I've burnt it into the wood in celebration of Earth, Fire and Air my water element has been represented by spraying it with full moon water and salt... Crystal Grids are used to enhance your intention and help you manifest your goals and aspirations channelling your crystals in a geometric grid representing the universe...... I have used a Mandala for mine as that's what came out intuativly from my soul, a Mandala in itself is a symbol of Hinduism and Buddhism representing the universe and having a circular design however it comes out, it represents the idea that life is never ending and that everything is connected... I also used the triple Goddess Moon, being the Maiden, the Mother and the Crone. Representing all the phases of a woman's life connecting me even more deeply within myself Love Birdy xxx

17.01.2022 So through divine intervention a divine soul sista gave me some beautiful branches from a date palm. So I created a Besom or what most modern day people call a Witches Broomstick I then looked up Date as I haven't used it before well apart from eating it... I found out that the date fruit and the tree itself is known to have symbolic meaning around death and resurrection being used in history by Egypt and is ruled by the sun connecting it to Sun God Ra. As well as that they attract good luck and abundance and if you gift a friend date it will strengthen your friendship Again this is just touching base on the amazing uses for the date palm, little did I know this when I was gifted them to make into Besoms. For me I really wanted to create this with intent and love bringing in that love that landed me with them in the first place the love between 2 sisters of the universe So this is my first attempt at a handmade Besom for the home a item that without actually touching the floor you sweep your home of all that negativity, fear and all that doesn't serve you, it can also be used to sweep clean and cleanse a ritual area before circle casting. 12.01.2022 So sadly I came home yesterday to my house being broken into every draw and cupboard was opened things thrown everywhere and a smashed security camera all over our lounge room floor, and my alter all messed up and things thrown all over my bedroom, fortunately nothing was taken we just think they have come in looking for cash or a safe. But now as with everyone that has had this happen, I have the feeling of being violated my sacred place that is my home has been tainted so I... reached out to my sisterhood for strength and guidance. Today I made my first Protection Salt Shaker I made it with everything I had using every magical herb and elemental meaning I could find this included... Sea salt Himalayan salt Rosemary Rose Chamomile Sage Lavender Eucalyptus Bay Leaf Dried fruits Palo Santo resin All my herbs are dried and blessed I then wrote a spell on some tea stained paper and sprinkled my full moon water on it and then burnt the edges bringing with it the elements of fire and air. I added 3 shells bringing with them the power of 3 and bringing in the water element and marking one with the rune symbol for protection. And ofcourse my sacred salts as well as the herbs represent our beautiful Earth element. I decorated with my moon water soaked twine and a white feather also using 3 beads with 3 knots on each end of my bow. Everything made with intent and love each and every part lovingly blessed for the greater good for my practice I believe there are no recipes or rules follow your beautiful Intuative hearts xxx I hope this inspires you Love Birdy xxx

12.01.2022 Ok disclaimer first this is only my perspective on the way in which I do things, I honour everyones different practices, to me there are no rights and wrongs in Wiccan only that which is created with love and intent and no harm to none... So please only take from this what you will... All ready for the next few days of Samhain which for those who don't know is Halloween I'm deeply connected with the Elements and I work with the seasons so in the Southern hemisphere these are ...opposite to those in the Northern hemisphere. Traditionally All Hallows Eve aka Halloween or more traditionally Samhain is a time when the veil between our world's is thin and those who have passed or that guide us can roam more freely, hence people dressing like skeletons and so forth. We like to do a feast in honour of the harvest collected for the dark winter so we carve a pumpkin and make a nice Thai pumpkin soup. Today I've cleaned my home with the intent of washing away all that doesn't serve me and then I did a light meditation and then smudged our home taking away any negativity, protecting our home and giving us guidance. I put out photo of my biggest love my Grandfather Harry whom I lovingly called Goggy, it's a time when we can honour and welcome our loved ones with open arms and we therefore leave a seat for them at the table when we feast Blessed be... 09.01.2022 Today I made my first Medicine Bag (talisman, amulet bag) it's not supposed to be neat every aspect of its creation is made with magic and intent every knot is tied x3, knotting all your intentions into the piece and when your stitch tangles it holds meaning to your life and all that is not serving you and reminds us to have patience to untangle it or to let it be and move on, it's a creation that you make with your hands and heart by making it to serve you or whomever your m...aking it for... It has no plan or pattern it is just made intuativly with whatever feels right... You can put whatever you feel you need into the bag, I like to put a feather (representing a eagle - my animal guide) a few crystals, herbs, grounding stone, shell etc You can put in whatever you want to use to heal or protect you making it your medicine This is just a very basic explanation of what this is and the magic that it holds Love Birdy xxx
