10.01.2022 Our final Cultural Burning Workshop for 2020, coinciding with the start of NAIDOC week 2020, was another beautiful knowledge-sharing event between people from many different places and walks of life. Our family are deeply grateful for the extraordinary journey we have been on this year, led by our incredibly talented teacher, mentor and friend, Uncle Den Barber of Yarrabin Cultural Connections, and supported by the wonderful members of Koori Country Firesticks Aboriginal Corp...oration who travelled here to teach and learn with such generosity, humour & warmth - Adam R, Corey, Tyson, Adam D, Julie, Russell, Jeremy & Dakota. And congratulations to the newest Koori Country members - Ngalan & Oscar!! Thanks also to our generous & enthusiastic volunteers Ro and Renee for supporting us. We’re very excited about our workshop plans for 2021 ... when we look forward to meeting old friends and new! See more
