24.01.2022 Seen today swimming around the Marina office for ages was this juvenile diamond Trevally with very long upper and lower fins. Very playful and photogenic. Great to see these fish back in our clear waters.

22.01.2022 2020 is the first year centre management and the marina team worked together in cleaning up from the Iron Cove Bridge finishing at the Drummoyne Sailing Club. A big thank you to all our marina tenants and staff who helped out, it was great to work together to help keep our waterways and parks clear of rubbish. We can never have too many volunteers and would love to see more of our community join us next year! .... not only does it feel good to give back, it took no time at ...all. 15.01.2022 Thanks to our friends at the Water Police for helping staff called in on Xmas day to stop a sinking Whitley 2800 from going to the bottom. Our fire pump got the water out, and the vessel was towed and put on one of our spare Air Berths until we can sort the problem out after the Xmas rush. Thanks Peter Farrugia and Phil McGowen for dropping everything and coming in. All smiles after a successful job.

04.01.2022 Race 7 of the 18 Skiff championships saw team Birkenhead off to a great start and staying within the top 4 positions for two thirds of the race until tracking broke away on the skiff forcing them to retire. First time using the No 2 sails in the 22 knot South East winds. Good luck next week.

02.01.2022 Race 1 of the Double Bay 18 Skiff Club Championships today saw the Birkenhead skiff cross the line in 11th place and 3rd on Handicap. Down one crew member due to an injury sustained during training in strong winds on Friday they did well under the circumstances. Well done and a speedy recovery to Elliot.
