25.01.2022 Tiki and Khan's three kittens are now 5 1/2 weeks old. As you can see they are growing, exploring and playing. Such a lovely age. They are eating solids and drinking water as well as getting regular feeds from Mum's milk bar. The "joy" of litter training is well under way. Unfortunately none of these kittens are available and they will all be going to people currently on my waiting list. Due to the high demand for kittens my waiting list is currently closed till such time as it is reduced to a realistic number.

24.01.2022 Chalfont Our Star of India (Indie, seal tabby point) is a loving lap cat. This young girl has been close to me since the day she arrived from New Zealand. I am so grateful to Lyall Payne of Chalfont Birmans for entrusting this beautiful ten month old girl to be part of my breeding program in Australia.

24.01.2022 I love Monash so much - such an exceptional Mum! Monash is currently raising her final litter of kittens after being desexed two days ago. Monash doesn't actually have milk anymore but let's her kittens comfort suckle off her. Any cat can be a mother but cats that adore their babies like Monash does are a rare find. I certainly have been blessed to have raised and had this lovely girl for nearly four years. I have found the most wonderful retirement home for Monash ...where she will be loved and cared for. I will miss her so much but it is about what is best for my cats not me. Photo: Monash feeding from left to right: Shelby, Remy and Natalya

24.01.2022 Monash's kittens are now over nine weeks old. All have found their forever homes and next week is desexing time for Monash (Dreampoint Monash Miracle) and her kittens. This is Monash's final litter after giving us some beautiful babies - two of which are still with us here at Dreampoint Birmans as breeding girls. Monash deserves her retitement in a loving home where she can be loved and give back love, purrs and even talk to you - Monash loves a chat. We have had some inter...est from people wanting to give Monash her forever home but as yet she hasn't found her perfect new owner/s. Monash, a seal tabby point Birman, will be four years old in October and although she gets on with our dog she needs to be in an only cat family as she is dominant over other cats. If you are interested in considering Monash or would like the opportunity to interview as her new owner/s please PM me for more information.

23.01.2022 UNFORTUNATELY NONE OF THESE KITTENS ARE AVAILABLE. OUR WAITING LIST IS CURRENTLY CLOSED. January was a busy month at Dreampoint Birman's with the arrival of three litters of kittens. The first litter to arrive was born to Indie, Chalfont Our Star of India (Imp NZ). The stud was PDCG Bindura Shere Khan, Khan. There are four boys in this litter, two seal points and two seal tabby points. ... The second litter was born ten days later to Tiki, Chalfont Lucky Tiki Dream (Imp NZ). The stud was also PDGC Bindura Shere Khan, Khan. This was a singleton litter producing a seal point girl. Although this was Tiki's second litter there was an issue getting her to settle with her singleton kitten. Fortunately because Indie already had her litter she was able to take over feeding and caring for Tiki's kitten as well as the four of her own. Then Tiki settled and decided she would like to co-parent with Indie. Since then both girls have cared for all five kittens together. Indie still does the majority of the work and is an amazing first time Mum. Although not conventional it works for these girls, who have been together nearly all their lives, and more importantly their five kittens who are all thriving. The third litter was born on the evening of Australia Day via c-section due to birthing complications to Dior, Maisondechat In Fashion. These two male kittens were the last kittens sired by Khan, PDGC Bindura Shere Khan, as he was desexed in December. Special thanks to Dr Xavier Schneider and his team at Queensland Veterinary Specialists (QVS), for the surgery and care of Dior and her sons. Thank you also to Dr Tanisha Mian for the pain relief to ensure Dior was able to care for her kittens. I owe so much to the fantastic Reproduction team at QVS headed by Dr Phil Thomas, and the entire team at QVS. Without this team of specialist vets, vet nurses , receptionists and support staff, breeding for me would be impossible. The devotion showed by these people to the animals they care for and the support given to their owners is second to none and very greatly appreciated. When these kittens go to their owners in April we will be taking a break from breeding for a much needed holiday and to consider our breeding future. At this stage we are not adding anyone to our waiting list for kittens. Thank you all for your support and understanding.

19.01.2022 Changing of the guard (breeding Queens) at Dreampoint Birmans today. Our alpha girl - Dreampoint Monash Miracle (Monash), today started her retirement from breeding with her new owners. We will miss Monash terribly but we know she will be very loved at her new home by her new owners. Monash was the most wonderful Mum to her kittens and has given us two lovely girls to continue breeding with - Dreampoint Dame Kiri Te Kanawa (Kiri, seal tabby point) and Dreampoint Natalya (chocolate tabby point). Kiri has already given us a litter of kittens. Natalya is only 12 weeks old so if all goes well we might have kittens from her next year. This photo shows full sisters from different litters Dreampoint Natalya (left) and Dreampoint Dame Kiri Te Kanawa (right).

19.01.2022 Co-parenting at its best! UNFORTUNATELY NONE OF THESE KITTENS ARE AVAILABLE AND WILL ALL BE GOING TO PEOPLE CURRENTLY ON MY WAITING LIST. These two girls, Chalfont Our Star of India (Indie, seal point) and Chalfont Lucky Tiki Dream (Tiki, blue point) are my imported girls from New Zealand. They were raised together in New Zealand before they flew together to me in May 2020. ... Both girls gave birth ten days apart however they decided being Mums together meant sharing the load. Indie, a first time Mum, has four boys while Tiki, a second time Mum, has one girl. The five kittens feed off both Mums who happily share the responsibilities of raising their kittens. These photos are of the rare times both girls are caring for the kittens together. Mostly one Mum cares for the five while the other has a break before they swap over roles. It is so beautiful to see two Mums behaving this way. It makes for great mental health for both of them as well as five healthy, thriving, happy babies. Thank you Lyall Payne from Chalfont Birmans New Zealand for allowing me to have these two girls to be part of my breeding program.

18.01.2022 Two blue point male Birman kittens looking for their forever homes. These kittens are not Dreampoint Birmans but are based in Lismore, NSW. If you are interested in these 13 and 14 week old blue point boys please PM me for details of how to contact their breeder for more details. .

17.01.2022 Dreampoint Monash Miracle (Monash) will be 4 years old on 22 October. Monash has now retired from breeding, is desexed and looking for her forever home. Monash is a seal tabby point and a very dominant girl. Due to this Monash needs to be in an "only cat" home. Monash is happy to be with a dog. I also believe Monash would be better in a home without children. A very loving girl, Monash enjoys curling up in bed with you and wants to be involved with you. Monash is a talkative... Birman and will carry on a conversation with you. If you think you might be able to offer Monash her forever home please message me.

17.01.2022 Regardless whether she is on safari, or just relaxing in the lounge, Dreampoint Natalya, chocolate tabby point 17 week old girl is full on. This outgoing kitten can be trouble but those eyes make it difficult to be angry. Natalya will hopefully be a future breeding Queen for Dreampoint Birmans next breeding season.

16.01.2022 Happy 6th Birthday to Bella (Bindura Southern Belle) and U2's (Chalfont Rattle N Hum) first litter of kittens: Dreampoint Heartland (Carlos) Dreampoint All I Want Is You (Jack Sparrow) Dreampoint Scarlett (Keiko) Dreampoint Helter Skelter (Louie)... Dreampoint Angel Of Harlem (Harley) These five kittens were the start of my tabby dream and have grown into beautiful cats with loving natures. Thank you so much to their wonderful owners who have taken such exceptional care of these lovely babies.

15.01.2022 Tiki and Khan's three kittens all met their new owners today. Unfortunately we don't have any kittens available at the moment and our waiting list is currently closed.

14.01.2022 THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO ENQUIRED ABOUT GIVING HOMES TO KHAN AND/OR KIRI. I AM DELIGHTED TO ADVISE THAT THESE TWO CATS HAVE FOUND THEIR NEW OWNER AND WILL BE GOING TOGETHER TO THEIR NEW HOME. Seal Tabby Point retired breeding cats looking for their forever homes. The difficult decision has been to desex two seal tabby points, Dreampoint Dame Kiri Te Kanawa - Kiri born 21 January 2019 (nearly 2 years old) and her father Bindura Shere Khan - Khan born 3 February 2017 (nearl...y 4 years old). Kiri only had one litter of kittens, Khan has fathered many litters and given his loving nature to all of his babies. Both these cats deserve to be spoilt in their retirement. Both of these cats have recovered from their surgery and are looking for their forever retirement homes. They could go together or individually. If you think you have a suitable home for either or both of these cats please contact me by message, text or phone, to tell me the type of home you would be providing. I am happy to answer any questions you might have on these cats.

11.01.2022 BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT I am pleased to announce that first time Mum, Chalfont Lucky Tiki Dream (Tiki, blue point) gave birth to her first litter of kittens to Bindura Shere Khan (Khan, seal tabby point) overnight on Thursday 17 September. Tiki is being a wonderful first time Mum to her three babies. These kittens could be seal point, blue point, seal tabby point or blue tabby point. Unfortunately none of these kittens will be available and our waiting list is currently closed.

11.01.2022 THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN MONASH, SHE HAS NOW FOUND HER FOREVER HOME. Dreampoint Monash Miracle (Monash) a seal tabby point girl born on 22 October 2016 (four years old next month) is currently interviewing for her forever home. Monash is a loving girl who has raised some beautiful kittens for us but it is now her time to be the center of someone's universe. There is nothing Monash likes more than to curl up in bed with you. As much as we would love to keep Monash w...ith us she is a very dominant girl and doesn't appreciate other entire female cats around her. This is why we are looking for a single cat (Monash only) home for this lovely girl. Monash gets on well with our dog so a dog with her would probably not be an issue. However we do suggest she is the only cat in your home - for the peace and harmony of all. Monash loves to talk, will answer you and come to her name. We get lots of lovely cuddles and purrs from this loving girl. Monash is being desexed at the end of this week and will be ready to join her new family in early October. If you think you can give Monash a wonderful home please message us for more information. As we are based in Brisbane (Queensland, Australia) and given the flight restrictions due to Covid it would be better if Monash could find her forever home in Queensland. Flights interstate can take several weeks to arrange.

09.01.2022 A big day at Dreampoint Birmans today for Monash and two of her three kittens. Monash, Remy (blue point boy) and Shelby (seal point girl) were all desexed and are now back home isolated from the other cats in the hope that I can keep them quiet. Remy and Shelby's sister, Natalya (chocolate tabby point girl) is staying at Dreampoint Birmans hopefully as a future breeding Queen. Monash, Remy and Shelby all have found their forever homes and Natalya is not available. Our waiting list is currently closed. We don't have any kittens or cats available and at this point in time are not putting anymore people on our waiting list.

06.01.2022 This loving, handsome man is the resident stud at Dreampoint Birmans and the father of many of our kittens - Platinum Double Grand Champion Bindura Shere Khan - seal tabby point. Khan is 3 years and 9 months old and will soon be retiring from breeding and become my house pet. Khan has given his loving nature to so many Dreampoint kittens and as a stud he is still so loving and gentle. He loves cuddles with his Mum. I would like to thank Carol & Peter Cootes from Bindura Birmans in Canberra for allowing Khan to be such a big part of Dreampoint Birmans breeding program. We are certainly blessed to have had him sire so many beautiful kittens.

03.01.2022 Who said kittens/cats can't play fetch? This is 15 week old Dreampoint Natalya, chocolate tabby point Birman girl. As you can see fetch with her toy mouse is a game that she happily plays for ages. I wear out long before she does with this game. When that happens Natalya pushes it off the chair and retrieves it for herself. When that gets boring she retrieves it and puts it on my lap for me to throw it again for her. Hours of fun!

02.01.2022 Happy 4th Birthday to Bella and U2's final litter of 6 kittens: Dreampoint Savannah - Seal point girl living in Brisbane Dreampoint Bambi - Seal tabby point girl living in Sydney Dreampoint Lexi - Seal tabby point girl living in Brisbane... Dreampoint Chia - Seal point girl living with her litter brother on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Dreampoint Cappucino - Seal tabby point boy living with his litter sister on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland Dreampoint Ash - Seal point boy living in Sydney Thank you to all the wonderful owners of these babies for taking amazing care of them and for your regular updates. I really do appreciate all you do for your babies.

01.01.2022 Nothing more entertaining for cats than watching the lizard. Hours of fun for all the family. At least being indoor cats the lizard is safe.
