24.01.2022 Osu all. For thise that dont know Blair graded at Freshwater Creek Dojo last night because he works on Saturdays. Although it was a short grading time wise it was certainly very taxing. Blair did a fantastic job and I am sure when the results come through it will be a positive result. All comments from the Dan grades were very positive.

23.01.2022 Osu all. It is official now that Heath Smith is the first Shodan produced by Birregurra Dojo. Sempai Heath is very worthy recipient of this honour. Congratulations. Osu.

21.01.2022 Osu all. Due to the issues with Covid 19 in Colac I have reluctantly decided to cancel classes until the situation there stabilises. Birregurea and surrounding communities have ties with the Colac area and I feel this needs to happen for the safety of all. These are challenging times and I home you all understand. We will be up and running again ASAP.

19.01.2022 Osu. Some of the Birre crew training at Lorne last night. Gotta love training in the ocean and the look on their faces as you go deeper and the waves get bigger. Great job done by all. You deserved the sausage sizzle abd drinks afterwards.

16.01.2022 Osu. Stamina and board breaks done. Two training sessions tomorrow and grading at 1.30.

16.01.2022 Osu. Great job by the Birre crew at the Ballan camp at the weekend especially the kids, Cam, Mick, Isaac Ned and Tom. They all did a great job with long sessions in hot conditions and a 5.30am start on Sunday. Not every day you get to train with a Ninth Dan on your doorstep. I think there were a few surprised how approachable Hanshi Taylor is.

14.01.2022 Osu. Great day at the Victorian Regional Tournament. Birregurra students did a fantastc job with all of them showing great spirit and doing themselves and their dojo proud. Congratulations to Austin Atkins who picked up a first place. Aussie has fought hard in a few tournaments now and has finally reaped the benifits of his hard work. Well done also to the Freshwater Creek Dojo that had a successful day and thanks to Sempai Brad and the Winchelsea crew for putting on great tournament. Osu.

12.01.2022 Sunday morning beach training with Ballan and Freshwater Creek Dojos. Aussie doing his stuff. Got very wet and cold the young fella but he stuck to it and had a good time. Well done Aus..

11.01.2022 Osu. Great job by Birregurra crew at Portland Border Challenge today. Heath first place in open male. Cam silver in ten year old female and Haley bronze in 14-15 female. Aussie did a great job losing to the eventual winner of a large group getting one flag.

08.01.2022 Osu all. We have finally received permission from the hall committee to return to training. Classes recommence 6.00pm this Tuesday the 14th of July. Be there or be square.

07.01.2022 Osu all. Interesting times. I am glad I cancelled classes for the time being as I have just been informed I have tested positive to Covid 19 from an incidental contact with a positive person. I have no real symtoms apart from feeling a bit flat. Going through ISO. Be careful out there everyone.
