We are so lucky to be part of this community and cannot wait to reopen our doors officially and get back to doing what we love, as well as seeing our staff safe and secure in their jobs. Effective immediately, the following applies at Birrong Sports: Mask wearing your health and wellbeing is our priority. We encourage all patrons to please wear a mask when attending our venues. Disposable masks will be available upon request at reception, should you wish to wear one whilst visiting. Temperature chec...ks at reception have been reintroduced to ensure your safety. In accordance with Public Health advice, patrons from the Northern Beaches and other hot spots will not be permitted to visit at this stage. 1 patron per 4 square metres in indoor areas applies. 1 patron per 2 square metres in outdoor areas applies. This is a small set back to an otherwise positive last few months, please remain vigilant and if you are unwell or experiencing even the most mild symptoms please stay home. 14.01.2022 From January 1 the NSW Government has made it mandatory for our venues to use the Service NSW QR code to check-in our patrons, in addition to our current sign-i...n practices for the Registered Clubs Act. This change follows a recent Public Health Order and announcement from Premier Gladys Berejiklian regarding updated COVID-19 contact tracing requirements. The COVID Safe Check-In is a new feature on the Service NSW app which provides a contactless method a QR code to record your visit to COVID Safe businesses. Customers can log in or download the Service NSW app, select the COVID Safe Check-in tile from the homepage, and follow the prompts to scan the QR Code and sign in. In situations where you do not own or have in your possession a smart phone, you will be required to sign-in as per the existing entry requirements.
