22.01.2022 The love of a mother to her Bub is unconditional.

19.01.2022 Good Morning mummies ! Today we start off a new topic that we will be posting on Sundays. We will be showing the pregnancy weeks, week by week and giving facts such as how big the foetus is ! So tune back in next Sunday for another week ! We’d love to see you there ! ... Your baby has implanted into the uterine lining and is currently a collection of cells called a blastocyst. These cells become an embryo this week and form the placenta to nourish and protect baby. Your baby is about the size of a poppy seed and your child’s characteristics such as sex, eye colour and hair colour have already been determined through its chromosomes. Head on over to our website to check out online courses and classes ! We look forward to seeing you there ! www.birthhq.com.au

05.01.2022 Good morning everyone We are enjoying our long weekend here on the Sunshine Coast, what about you ? Today we talk about skin to skin immediately post birth.... Skin to skin is promoted. Breastfeeding commences. The midwife checks the mother’s perineum & vaginal wall for tears. Rest is encouraged as the mother is hydrated and fed. Pain relief is provided. Physical checks of baby and mother in the first 24hrs to ensure uterine contraction and recovery. Depending on your birth, support is encouraged for a smooth transition into parenthood. Thanks so much for tuning back in ! Hope everyone had enjoyed ! Head on over to our website for more information on courses and classes we offer ! www.birthhq.com.au

04.01.2022 Good morning mummies ! Today we’ll be discussing exactly what an APGAR score is ! A quick score given to a newborn at birth, that determines how well the baby tolerated the birthing process. ... The test provides health professionals with a quick indication of baby’s heart rate, muscle tone, colour, reflexes and respiration. Amazing ! If you love these posts why not head on over to our website to see our online courses AND classes ! www.birthhq.com.au
