11.01.2022 Birthing RItes Australia has been very quiet for quite a while as many changes have happened. However, we will be back up and going again. I wanted to acknowledge one of the first Childbirth Educators that was trained under Birthing Rites Australia, Amanda Frost passed away yesterday in France where she has lived for a number of years. She was such a bright, positive and giving person to all who came her way. She ran classes with us and attended many births in the 90's. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family Amanda. Blessings and love. Thank you for all the lives you touched and inspired with love,
10.01.2022 Dear People who have been part of, and loved Birthing Rites and what we have had to offer. We have gone through so many changes in the past year and I have been non active on our page. The closing of our space after 25 years took its toll on me physically and emotionally. Finding other places and offices to work out of was no easy task, given a month to leave. Anyhow the grieving is coming to an end and we have recalibrated ourselves. Birthing Rites is still going working... out of 9 Ebley Street, Bondi Junction. Workshops from the Waverly Community Centre in Spring Street. Also some clients I see out of Dr. Fleisch's rooms in Bondi Junction. I will close this with a quote which encompasses everything our work is based from... 'The foundations of our lives are laid in childhood. The way of thinking and feeling that we learn during those critical years will have a profound effect on our lives, in the same way as food and physical hygiene will affect our future health. '..Dalai Lama. This really was where we started from back in the 60's, bringing change to the way babies were birthed, families were involved, so they could evolve. Love and light continues.
