11.01.2022 Australian fathers want and deserve more from our health system. I've been involved in the Plus Paternal: A focus on fathers Case for Change, round table discus...sions. Click below to get full report and help promote this initiative to your colleagues, clients and expectant parents that you may know. https://www.healthymale.org.au//plus-pater/case-for-change Australian society, and our health system, has not kept pace with the changing needs, expectations, roles and diversity of modern-day families. To improve the health of men and their families, a fundamental shift in the way fathers are viewed and supported is required. The goals of the Case for Change are about strengthening society and the health system. Efforts to acknowledge, engage and support men should not detract from, nor compete with, women’s health initiatives. I hope we can use this opportunity to see how we can even better engage, support and educate the fathers we work with.

We show you how,and give you a ton of education and guiding tools to keep you on the path of personal growth into parenthood. After every Beer and Bubs Melbourne session, I am so in awe of the care and desire expectant dads express for their partners. They want to know what to do. They want to support her wishes. They want to keep her safe and well. They want to work as a team and they are keen to put into action what they learn. Beer and bubs is presented in a an interactive, education and relaxed way. Aladdin Jones and Erika Munton co facilitate these monthly sessions (currently online) and want to make sure dads still know this workshop is on offer. It's a life changer for dads and their partners. Join us below or share this on to your friends / colleagues and community. Cheers, Erika and Aladdin.
