You may have already met Jess our wonderful Bissel B owner / director, and if you have, then you know she is one beautiful uplifting spirit. Growing up in and around hospitality - Jess has always had a real passion for service, creation, exploration and food!!!!! ... Gaby, her dad, says she's a sight to see when she's eating- she tends to frown but only because she's so concentrated on the flavours and ingredients and experiencing every moment of her meal. One of Jess's favourite parts of hospolife is watching her guests first reactions to trying her new creations, the pure joy or surprise at unexpected flavours - this just lights up her day!!! Other than her obvious love and passion for service and hospitality, she is also quite the singer. With singing and entertainment in her family background Jess has grown up with an absolute love for Arts, Creation, Expression, Theatre and Cinema. 11.01.2022 Bissel B Bagels & Coffee is on the hunt for FOH Staff. We are a small yet super busy cafe on the top end of Bridge Road. We are looking for someone who is keen for 30+ hours per week or 2x people who would like 15-20hrs per week. ... The positions available do not necessarily require previous experience in hospo however you will be dedicated, hardworking and must be able to work well under pressure during our busiest times. Coffee making skills are not necessary but definitely advantageous. You will be required to wait tables, take out food and drink for both table service and takeaway, take orders on the POS etc. We pay award wages based on your skill level + Super. Immediate start available & Guaranteed hours.

06.01.2022 If you've had a chance to visit us at Bissel B, you surely will have seen Gaby in the kitchen, pumping out the bagels, and pumping up the team!!! Gaby, father to Jess and Ryan...aswell as the influence behind the family love for food and hospitality, has a good number of years in the industry under his belt. Having owned and ran a 700 seater restaurant and a 20man kitchen, amongst opening and running numerous venues throughout his time....he is no stranger to hard work.......he loves to be in amongst it all with the team. Though Gaby would have preferred to see his children endeavour into a different industry, saying Hospitality is tough, and requires both a lot of work and alot of love...you can see the pride he feels for both of his children whenever he talks about them and their achievements, he is truly a proud papa bear. Though he does admit to finding certain challenges to working alongside them...especially when the apple doesn't fall far from the tree...especially when it comes to having ideas and feeling very strongly about them. If you have talked with Gaby, or watched him in action, you will see where Jess and Ryan have formed their work ethic, passion for food and service, and love for hosting and entertaining guests. Just ask his kids, his fridge is always stocked up with their favourites for when they come to visit, he's always prepared to entertain, and if you've met this man you know the warmth of his hospitality- friends are like family to Gaby!
