12.01.2022 IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM BELMONT GOLF & BOWLS COVID-19 BULLETIN Social Members of Belmont Golf & Bowls are advised that as well the golf course and bowling greens, the Clubhouse will be restricted to MEMBERS ONLY from Saturday 8th August (i.e. from Friday midnight) for an initial period of three weeks.... This is for the safety and protection of all our existing members. Several new Covid-19 case locations in Hamilton, Adamstown and Broadmeadow and at the Queens Wharf Hotel in Newcastle have just today been identified by NSW Public Health, in addition to the locations previously notified in Jesmond, Lambton, Toronto and Wallsend. It is evident that there is an increasing risk of exposure to coronavirus cases not just from Sydney but locally within Newcastle. Details of Covid-19 case locations can be found on the NSW Public Health website https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates The decision to restrict access to the Clubhouse to members only will be reviewed towards the end of the initial three-week period and we can only hope that the spread of coronavirus starts to slow in the meantime. Members who have family or friends who they would like to bring to the Club are urged to have them sign up as a social member at the office or bar immediately (today or tomorrow). We will not be accepting new social members while the Clubhouse is restricted to members only so guests of members will not be admitted. 08.01.2022 BISTRO 801 SATURDAY DINNER RE-OPENING From Saturday 9th January 2021 BISTRO 801 will be re-opening for dinner. Bookings are preferred. So why not grab a group of mates book a table for dinner and have a game of twilight bowls or golf before hand.

04.01.2022 Massive shout out to all our members who have supported us for the last 10weeks while the clubhouse was closed and we were operating out of the Tuck Shop window, it has been amazing to see everyone back in the clubhouse this week and so many of our regulars back in last night for dinner. Don’t forget the Raffles and Trivia are back from next week so be sure to book your table. Our hours of operation for now are: Lunch: Monday 11-2pm... Tues - Sunday 11-2.30pm Dinner: Wed-Friday 5-8pm (we will be reopening on Saturday’s soon) For the moment the Thursday night Snitty special is on hold.
