19.01.2022 COVID-19 Update It’s been a tough few days and we have just been trying to process everything that’s come about today, for the moment with the clubhouse closed we are very restricted as to what we can serve as both takeaway and delivery but are hoping against hope that we can keep ourselves afloat and come back from here your support is so important Xx Bruce & Leah
17.01.2022 Hey everyone well it’s been a bit of a slow start to the the Tuck Shop’s return.....but there’s not much we can do about the weather everyone’s been doing a great job though and while I know it’s not ideal circumstances and we don’t have EVERYTHING we used to and we are still finding our way with the new set up, we really appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding. Please remember to phone in all hot food and drink orders on 0474 007 474 and remember that we are only operating from 9.30 till 2.30 so if you ring before this time please leave your name a message or txt with your order. We are doing the best we can during this time.

16.01.2022 Given the latest news from the Gov in relation to shutting down non-essential services we are planning on introducing a home delivery service for our customers we are in the process of putting a new home delivery menu together to coincide with the new regulations. #supportlocalbusiness

We will be adhering to all NSW Government guidelines here at Belmont Golf Club & BISTRO 801 and re-opening to DINE IN on Tuesday 2nd June!! Our operating hours are as follows:... Lunch: Tuesday Sunday 11.00 - 2.30pm Dinner: Wednesday Friday from 5.00-8.00pm Bookings are ESSENTIAL and can be made by calling directly on 02 4945 4348 EXT 5 (Bistro). Walk ins will be offered where possible for lunch and dinner services if we have the space to safely accommodate you at the time. 13.01.2022 IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM BELMONT GOLF & BOWLS COVID-19 BULLETIN Social Members of Belmont Golf & Bowls are advised that as well the golf course and bowling greens, the Clubhouse will be restricted to MEMBERS ONLY from Saturday 8th August (i.e. from Friday midnight) for an initial period of three weeks.... This is for the safety and protection of all our existing members. Several new Covid-19 case locations in Hamilton, Adamstown and Broadmeadow and at the Queens Wharf Hotel in Newcastle have just today been identified by NSW Public Health, in addition to the locations previously notified in Jesmond, Lambton, Toronto and Wallsend. It is evident that there is an increasing risk of exposure to coronavirus cases not just from Sydney but locally within Newcastle. Details of Covid-19 case locations can be found on the NSW Public Health website https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates The decision to restrict access to the Clubhouse to members only will be reviewed towards the end of the initial three-week period and we can only hope that the spread of coronavirus starts to slow in the meantime. Members who have family or friends who they would like to bring to the Club are urged to have them sign up as a social member at the office or bar immediately (today or tomorrow). We will not be accepting new social members while the Clubhouse is restricted to members only so guests of members will not be admitted. 12.01.2022 Happy days from Monday 27th April BISTRO 801 we will be back at the Golf Club daily from 9.30-2.30 see attached menu.
09.01.2022 Today we got confirmation from Clubs NSW that as we are Club with both a golf course and bowling green attached we are able to still allow players to come and play a round or do a roll up as a result we are able to offer a restricted takeaway menu available while bowls or golf is in play as well as take away prepackaged individual meals to purchase during this period ranging in price from $10-15 our hours for the moment are 10am-2pm.
09.01.2022 As of tomorrow Belmont Golf Club and course will close for the duration of COVID-19 as will we, but we will see everybody on the flip side back bigger and better than before #dotherightthingstayhome #flattenthecurve
08.01.2022 Massive shout out to all our members who have supported us for the last 10weeks while the clubhouse was closed and we were operating out of the Tuck Shop window, it has been amazing to see everyone back in the clubhouse this week and so many of our regulars back in last night for dinner. Don’t forget the Raffles and Trivia are back from next week so be sure to book your table. Our hours of operation for now are: Lunch: Monday 11-2pm... Tues - Sunday 11-2.30pm Dinner: Wed-Friday 5-8pm (we will be reopening on Saturday’s soon) For the moment the Thursday night Snitty special is on hold. Thanks everyone. #keepsocialdistancing See more
