With melancholy and sadness the last day arrived; our last post, our last joy to cook a meal for you, the last time we close our door but we hoping it will be not the last time we will see you. And from the first day until today, we will do what we do best; cooking and serve you. ... Not enough words to express our gratitude and love for everyone who support us into this venture. It is always important to know when something has reached its end. Closing circles, shutting doors, finishing chapters, it doesn't matter what we call it, what matter is to remember all the lovely moment we had with you and move forwards. We will miss you all. 01.01.2022 Hello everyone, Many of you might already know us from our last venture in Terrigal, with great regret due to the epidemic crisis we decide to close our so much loved restaurant Bistro du monde. We are really excited for you to discover, what we have been working on in the past few months and are delighted to announce the opening of Le gourmet @ home really soon.... We decided on a different format for our new venture, with so much uncertainty on the current market and economy, with another potential break out and restriction , we will be offering restaurant quality meals ( fresh and frozen) ready to eat for pick up in store or deliver to your door ( central coast and Sydney, we will update delivery days soon, fee will apply), and a delicatessen on site to showcase our passion for food and exceptional produce. On the deli front you can expect fine cheese from France, Italy, Spain, Australia. Wide varieties of cured meat :Prosciutto San Daniele, Serrano ham, gypsy ham, salami, morcilla, chorizo house terrine, duck liver parfait, array of olives and antipasto, home made pie and quiche, arancinitoo much to name it all. Plus fine oil, vinegars, Belgium, Swiss and French chocolate, English toffee, crackers, biscuits, Italian pasta, San Marzano tomato, pickles We will also show case as many as we can small local food businesses, dips, chutney, marmalade, sauce, honey..( full list to come soon) The back bone of our new venture will be restaurant quality fresh and frozen ready to eat meals prepare by professional chefs such as : Beef cheeks Burgundy, house made gnocchi and pasta, soups, lamb shanks, duck confit Perfect for your daily dinner plan or to impress your guest in the comfort of your home.
