24.01.2022 Thoroughly enjoyed fitting these @rv_offthetrack @mcmasterfamilyhorses yesterday. What a lovely place for racehorses to transition. #happyhorses All these dedicated retrainers work so hard to train & rehome thoroughbreds. I really enjoy helping find the right bit for each horse, removing pressures and allowing the horse to enjoy & advance rather than fighting/resisting the bit.

07.01.2022 NEW BIT ALERT The secret is out, some of you have tested, some have seen it in my bit bag, here is what you need to know about @bombersbitsaus newest bit. #bombersbits Bombers Moulded range is good for the horse that objects to metal or when you have tried every kind of bit without luck. The Bombers moulded material has been uniquely developed, to ensure 3 key attributes: texture, durability and comfort.... The moulded preferred contact has cylindrical sides and is flat through the middle. The cylindrical sides flex at the articulated ridges onto the bottom bars, with the flattened centre section bending over the tongue.

02.01.2022 Day One ~ Swanpool Did not even make it out of the state on our NSW bit fittting tour Benny and @ashawarnock_equestrian are testing out the new Drop Cheek Moulded Mullen. He prefers a non metallic mouthpiece, he started nice in a Bomber Blue, but after a few weeks he found it a bit hard, so I returned for a refit. He was quite good in the Titanium DC Dresagge Happy Tongue Swivel but we felt he engaged better behing with the Drop Cheek Moulded Mullen. I do hope the revist pays... off. I also meet Farrah & Candy, Farrah was at the point of selling her OTT mare as she was avoiding all contact & had started to toss her head badly. They are now both very "Happy" with their @bombersbitaus Eggbutt Happy Tongue. Candy settled into the contact and a happy partnership ensued. Next Stop is Orange NSW See more
