24.01.2022 The 2020 ALTRAD Industries of Gladstone 20/20 Cricket Challenge has been run and won with QAL winning their 5th Industries cup with a highest score of 211. BITS Cricket Club would also like thank all of this years event sponsors including ALTRAD, IMIS, Glenn Butcher MP, Loftus Hire, Xtreme Engineering, Flexco, I & C Electrical, AESTEC Services, Singh Concrete Pumping, Bellis and Jon Heyden Electrical for helping make this years event a success

14.01.2022 Its a big day this Friday for our great mates at donatelife as they celebrate national Jersey Day. To promote Organ donation awareness, feel free to wear your fav team colours to work (Bronco supporters get an exemption this year!!) and please consider being a registered donor yourself. Donatelife is the official charity benefactor to the Industries of Gladstone 20/20 Cricket Challenge.

13.01.2022 Over the 12 years of Industries Cricket, not only has the cricket skills improved but so has the team presentation. Its almost a fashion arms race in 2020 and its so good to see each competing company take pride in their team!!

12.01.2022 Massive weekend of Island Cricket.... This weekend we celebrate all the best things about being an Aussie including the best of all CRICKET. BBBL 3 Super 8 is b...ack on at BITS this Saturday evening from 6pm and what better way to show how much you and your mates love Oz than nominating a team of 8 for the fast and fun Super 8 night. BBBL 1 & 2 have been sell outs and team numbers are limited so please nominate this week via email to [email protected]. 11.01.2022 ITS BACK FOR 2020!!! We are happy to announce that this years ALTRAD Industries of Gladstone 20/20 Cricket Challenge will feature the LOFTUS HIRE $600 in 60 Seconds Challenge!!!!!!!!!!. With great support from guys at local company Loftus Hire, one lucky Industries player gets the chance to hit off and pocket $50 for each 6 they hit in 60 seconds. This years $600nin 60 challenge will be held under lights on October 31st in between the BSL v Orica game at BITS Oval. 09.01.2022 For 2020, both we are very happy to announce that the Industries of Gladstone 20/20 Cricket Challenge will be promoting the fantastic work that Donatelife does to promote organ donation. From 26th July to 2nd August is Donatelife week so every day we will post an awesome fact about organ donation. For Example, did you know that one persons organ donation can change the lives of 11 other people.....that's a cricket team!!

07.01.2022 BIG News....We're back with 20/20 for 2020!!! We are happy to announce that the 12th Industries of Gladstone 20/20 Cricket Challenge will be held at BITS in OCTOBER.. However the traditional start of the cricket season will be held over two Saturdays on the 10th and 31st of October. Three games on the first week and the last 2 on the 31st all at BITS Stadium. More news to follow, but book holidays or look for a shift swap!!

07.01.2022 Over the past 11 years this weekend would have been the Industries 20/20 Cricket Challenge and we would have been celebrating a new champion team, however 2020 is a different year as we know. But thanks to the great support and enthusiasm by our 10 competing teams and fantastic sponsors we will have a 3 day event over the 10th, 17th and 31st Oct all at BITS Oval. We will introduce our teams and supporters over the next few days as we count down to the ALTRAD Industries of Gladstone 20/20 Cricket Challenge

07.01.2022 BITS CC would like to thank players, companies and supporters of the 2019 Industries Cricket Challenge. Through you we were able to provide the community with great facilities for the season and help our kids follow their dreams. There are very testing times ahead for everyone and this year Industries cricket may need to be put on hold, but in the mean time please stay safe and "dig in" until stumps!!

05.01.2022 Raffle for Mal Carlyon Benefit. BITS CRicket Club is proud to support local cricket legend Mal Carlyon and his family during this challenging time for them. Wit...h thanks to Qld Cricket, we have a 2018/19 Bulls bat signed by the squad including Aussies Khawaja, Burns, Renshaw, Lynn-sanity, Nesser, Stanlake and Marnus. A great addition to Dad's Xmas list and a fantastic way we can support big Mal. 50 tickets will be issued to every team at BITS and are $2 each with all proceeds going to the Carlyon family. Mal has been such a big part of Gladstone Cricket and a champion bloke as well. There is also a huge fundraising day at Clinton on the 7th Dec, so please get along to that. See more
